Organ donation-right or wrong? I have been told that organ donation is wrong because our body is the temple of God. Barbara Coetzer

The donation of the body or body parts may be fulfilling a part of the law of love because it is certainly far better to give another human body parts than to allow these organs to decompose and thereby hinder the blessings that others could have experienced (Matthew 22:37-40).
The feelings and grief of loved ones left behind, who may not see the body or understand its donation should be taken into consideration. Prolonged grief and emotional problems may result in loved ones who cannot reconcile their loved ones parting with reality without the physical presence of a body and/or funeral service.
Regardless of what the method of burial, the Lord will miraculously pull together all the molecules which compose that body in the resurrection, either to eternal life or to eternal damnation (I Corinthians 15:52-55, Revelation 20:12-15).
