Defense Minister Gallant: ‘We will not allow the Iranians and Hezbollah to harm us’

Israel National News reports: “Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant recently toured the IDF Etzion Regional Brigade with the Commander of the Judea and Samaria Division, the Chief of Staff of the Central Command, and Commanders of the Etzion Regional Brigade and the ‘Shaked’ Battalion.

Minister Gallant was briefed on the initial investigation into the ramming attack that took place overnight Saturday in Gush Etzion that left three soldiers wounded and received an overview of the IDF’s operational activities during the month of Muslim and Jewish holidays.

Following the operational briefings, Minister Gallant visited the brigade headquarters and proposed a toast with the soldiers of the ‘Shaked’ Battalion of the Givati Brigade ahead of the upcoming holidays. ‘All our fronts are tense. The Iranians are extending their outreach to Judea, Samaria, and Gaza and attempting to entrench themselves in Syria and Lebanon. We will not allow the Iranians and Hezbollah to harm us. We have not allowed it in the past, we won’t allow it now or anytime in the future,’ Gallant remarked during the visit. ‘When necessary – we will push them out of Syria to where they belong – and that is Iran.’…”
