Eight wounded in shooting outside France mosque

Israel National News reports: “Eight people were wounded on Sunday night after gunmen reportedly opened fire outside a mosque in southeast France, The Telegraph reported.

Worshippers were leaving the Arrahma mosque in Avignon, Provence, at about 10.30 p.m. (local time) when, according to the report, two ‘hooded men’ pulled up in a car and got out.

Police said the gunmen started shooting, wounding four people at the scene. A family of four who were in a nearby apartment were wounded by shrapnel.

One of the attackers was carrying a handgun, while the other had a rifle, according to The Telegraph.
