Israel National News reports: “Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh has published an announcement claiming that his terror organization ‘defeated Israel.’

During Israel’s 48-hour operation in Jenin, 12 terrorists were killed and a great deal of terror infrastructure destroyed. One IDF soldier was killed while the forces exited Jenin.

‘Israel failed and was defeated in Jenin, and is now carrying emotions of shame and defeat,’ Haniyeh claimed. ‘We sent a clear message to the enemy, by means of all the sources, that the resistance in all arenas is not far from what is happening in Judea and Samaria, and the enemy must immediately stop the aggression.’…”
