‘Israel will be hit by 2,000 missiles a day in future war’ – IDF general

March 15, 2021 — The Jerusalem Post reports: “Israel will come under an onslaught of 2,000 rockets and missiles every day during a future war with Hezbollah in Lebanon, OC Home Front Command Maj.-Gen. Uri Gordin warned on Monday.

Speaking at the B’Sheva Conference in Jerusalem, Gordin said that some 2,000 rockets and missiles will be fired at Israel every day and will challenge Israel’s military and civil defense capabilities.

‘Our enemies on the different fronts need to know that if needed, we will activate a powerful military that has never been seen before,’ Gordin said.

We believe that the second half of verse 1 should actually be a part of verse 2.  I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills – possibly the Psalmist is looking up and seeing himself surrounded by enemies.  From whence cometh my help? My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth – Israel’s help always has been and always will be from the Lord.  It has been said that every time Israel has been attacked by a militarily superior enemy – Israel gets a new national holiday.  Isaiah 56:1 states: “I will give them [Israel] an everlasting name that will not be cut off.  See the next two reports.)

Israel says Iron Dome can now intercept drones, missiles at same time

March 17, 2021 — SpaceWar.com reports: “Israel unveiled a new version of its ‘Iron Dome’ defence shield on Tuesday that it says is now capable of intercepting drones, missiles and rockets simultaneously.

In service for nearly a decade to protect Israel from rocket fire from the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, Iron Dome is credited with helping Israel to maintain military supremacy over its neighbours.

‘The Iron Dome was tested in a range of complex scenarios and successfully intercepted and destroyed targets simulating existing and emerging threats,’ said Defence Minister Benny Gantz.

The threats included ‘the simultaneous interception of multiple UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) as well as a salvo of rockets and missiles,’ he said in a statement…”

Israel is updating attack plans against Iran’s nuclear sites – Gantz

March 5, 2021 — The Jerusalem Post reports: “The IDF is updating its attack plans against Iran’s nuclear facilities, Defense Minister Benny Gantz revealed on Thursday in an interview with Fox News.

‘We have them [the attack plans] in our hands, but we will continue [to] constantly improve them,’ Gantz said.

‘The Iranian nuclear aspiration must be stopped. If the world stops them before, it’s very much good. But if not, we must stand independently and we must defend ourselves by ourselves,’ Gantz said.

Gantz spoke as US President Joe Biden is working to renew negotiations with the Iranians as part of an effort to return to the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran – known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action [JCPOA]. 

Israel is opposed to a return to the deal and has laid out a series of demands it would like to see addressed in a future deal…”

Iranian Defense Minister threatens to raze Tel Aviv and Haifa

March 8, 2021 — Israel National News reports: “Iran’s Defense Minister Amir Hatami on Sunday threatened on Sunday to ‘raze’ the cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa ‘to the ground’ if Israel launches a preemptive attack against the Islamic Republic, i24NEWS reports.

At the same time, Hatami also played down the chances of direct hostilities breaking out between the two countries, saying Israel is well aware of the potential consequences of such actions.

Israel in talks with Saudi, UAE, Bahrain for defense alliance against Iran

March 2, 2021 — The Jerusalem Post reports: “Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain have discussed expanding cooperation in facing common enemies, an Israeli official familiar with the matter said Monday.

The matter is being ‘informally discussed,’ the source said, adding that the countries are US allies. All four believe a nuclear Iran would be a major threat and have been eyeing the Biden administration’s plan to rejoin the 2015 nuclear deal with concern.

‘There is much to be gained by expanding cooperation,’ the source said…”

Latest Houthi attack shows reach of Iran’s power

March 8, 2021 — The Jerusalem Post reports: “The Houthi rebel attack on Saudi Arabia is rocking the Middle East. They carried through on threats to launch a major attack on Saudi Arabia. In early March, the Houthis threatened to target energy infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. In late February, the Houthis also targeted Riyadh. Saudi Arabia says it has intercepted 526 drones and 346 ballistic missiles over the last several years. 

The kingdom said the drone attack on Ras Tanura Port on Sunday and attempted missile strike on an Aramco residential area ‘had targeted global energy supplies. Ras Tanura is one of the world’s largest oil shipping ports and the Aramco complex in Dhahran houses workers and their families from all over the world,’ Arab News reports…”

Khamenei: The US promises have no credibility

March 22, 2021 — Israel National News reports: “Iran does not trust US promises on lifting sanctions and will only return to its commitments under the 2015 nuclear deal once Washington fully removes the measures, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Sunday, according to Reuters.

‘We trusted America at the time of (former US President Barack) Obama and fulfilled our commitments. But they didn’t. The Americans said on paper that sanctions will be lifted, but they didn’t lift sanctions in practice. Their promises have no credibility for us,’ he said.

‘On paper they said the sanctions were lifted but they told any company that wanted to sign a contract with us that this was dangerous and risky. Iran caught discussing plan to attack US military base using boat as a bomb

March 22, 2021 — Israel National News reports: “Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps recently discussed the possibility of attacking an American military base using a boat carrying explosive charges, according to a report in the Associated Press.

The base in question, the Fort McNair Army base, is located in Washington DC and a mere 10 minutes from the White House.

In January, the National Security Agency (NSA) became aware of the conversation. The plan involves filling a boat with explosives, similar to the 2000 USS Cole bombing in Yemen. In that attack, Al Qaeda used a small-sized fiberglass boat containing C4 explosives and two suicide bombers to blow up the U.S. Navy destroyer, killing 17 sailors and injuring 37. It was one of the deadliest attacks against an American naval ship in recent history…”

Iran General Salami Claims Invincibility: ‘Enemies Cannot even Dream of Victory’

March 31, 2021 — Breitbart.com reports: “Iran has such military strength and experience in dynamic modern warfare no enemy can even dream of beating it, Major General Hossein Salami, commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, declared Tuesday.

According to the official Tasnim News agency, Salami added ’the enemy has realized that it could by no means win a victory over Iran through a military war, which is why military action against the Islamic Republic has been taken off the table.’

Salami’s comments came at a conference held in commemoration of Iranian martyrs. Tasnim reports the military leader claimed experience of war on Iran in the 1980s has led ‘the enemies to the conclusion that it is impossible to defeat Iran through military action even in dreams.’

His boasts are a continuation of a theme that has long dominated Iranian geo-politics, as Breitbart News reported…”
