RVI: Actually there are two men who write this column, Understanding What We Read, Harvey Davis and Steve Ryan.
In this article they say the devil didnt make me do it. Youve heard that beforethe devil made me do itthey say no way. And they actually refer to Proverbs 6:16-18 and name some things.
I'm going to go back and forth with Jack and see, if the devil made me do it.
JVI: They say that there is no Satan to do it. It's our own minds. Let's hear what this Book says–not what two ministers who don't know what the Book teaches say.
RVI: First thing, a proud look.
JVI: I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven, Luke 10:18. Why? Pride, I Timothy 3:6.
RVI: A lying tongue.
JVI: He's a liar and the father of liars, John 8:44.
RVI: Hands that shed innocent blood.
JVI: He was a murderer from the beginning, John 8:44, and that's because Cain killed Abel.
RVI: A heart that devises wicked imaginations.
RVI: Feet swift in running to mischief?
JVI: I Chronicles 21:1, Satan stood against Israel. That's why the Jews have always been hated, because of this old devil.
RVI: A false witness that speaks lies.
JVI: Satan incarnates the world dictator in Revelation 13:3, and because of it, 2 Thessalonians 2:9 says he speaks lying wonders.
RVI: The last one, he that sows discord among brethren.
JVI: Paul said in I Thessalonians 2:18, Satan. You get it? Satan hindered us. That had to do as well with the break-up of Paul and Barnabas, the greatest missionary team in history in Acts chapter 15, verse 39.
One guy says there is no devil. The other says Satan will be in heaven. What a mixed up mess today some of these men present because they don't know the book.
