TEMPLE MOUNT TROUBLES

Islamic Movement: Jewish Temple Will Never Be Rebuilt

September 13, 2015Israel National News reports: “Muslims will never allow the Jews to rebuild the Temple, the deputy leader of the Islamic Movement in Israel said forcefully on Sunday in lieu of a Rosh Hashanah greeting.

In an interview with the Hamas-affiliated Palestine magazine, Kamal al-Khatib accused the Israeli establishment of ‘blinding its eyes and closing its ears’ to reason and truth.

Israel, he asserted, has taken advantage of the situation in the Arab region, coordinating security with the Palestinian Authority to advance its ‘malaria-riddled, mad plans’ to rebuild the Temple on the ruins of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

According to Khatib, the plan to implement worship on the Temple Mount for both Jews and Muslims is really a ploy to demolish the mosque and build the Third Temple in its place.

But, Khatib says, even if Israel were successful in destroying the Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as ‘annihilating’ the Palestinian people, the Arab world would never allow Judaism’s holiest site to be rebuilt.

‘You can deport whoever you want, kill whoever you want, dance based on the illusions of the prophets, believe the fairy-tales of rabbis, and even if the Western world will support you, the Al-Aqasa mosque…will never become a Jewish Temple,’ he concluded…” (At the return of Christ our Lord, after the Rapture [Revelation 3:10] Christ returns seven years later proving you Palestinians will be wrong. There will be a Jewish Temple. Proof? – “Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches” Revelation 3:11 – 13. God adds in Isaiah 56:5: “I will give them [Israel] an everlasting name.” See the next five reports that will eventually fail.)

Jordan: Temple Mount ‘A Place of Worship for Muslims’

September 20, 2015Israel National News reports: “Jordan’s King Abdullah II threatened an ‘explosion’ over Israel cracking down on violent Muslim riots on the Temple Mount on Sunday, stating in a meeting with Arab MKs that he will broach the issue in the United Nations next week.

‘I say this bluntly – there is cooperation and there is no division, Al-Aqsa is a place of worship for Muslims,’ Abdullah stated in his meeting with six Joint List MKs, according to Maariv.

‘What does Netanyahu want through his actions, to cause an explosion?’ he added. ‘I follow closely what is happening on the Temple Mount, and it will be an important issue in my meetings with world leaders at the United Nations next week.’…”

Abbas Warns of New ‘Intifada’ on Temple Mount

September 22, 2015Israel National News reports: “Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas raised his rhetoric on Tuesday, threatening about the ‘risk of an intifada’ or popular terror war if clashes at the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem continue.

After a meeting with French leader Francois Hollande in Paris, Abbas warned about the clashes that have been occurring since last week, saying, ‘what is happening is very dangerous.’

He warned against ‘an intifida which we don’t want,’ in an ironic statement given his call for violence at the Temple Mount – Judaism’s holiest site – just last Wednesday.

In that call which was broadcast on official PA TV, Abbas said ‘the Al-Aqsa (Mosque) is ours…and they (Jews) have no right to defile it with their filthy feet,’ while praising ‘martyrs’ who spill blood in Jerusalem for Allah…”

Eminent Palestinian sheikh asserts right to ‘self-defense’ on Temple Mount

September 17, 2015The Times of Israel reports: “Incensed by increasingly self-confident Jewish activism on the Temple Mount and the perceived Israeli government backing they receive, a senior Islamic cleric on Wednesday justified Muslim violence on the holy site as legitimate self-defense in the face of imminent danger.

Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, who served as the Palestinian Authority’s top cleric in Jerusalem between 1994 and 2006, told The Times of Israel that Islamic law recognizes the right of believers to spend the night in a mosque and pray, a religious act known in Arabic as i’tikaf. When done to defend the mosque from external aggression, the act can be known as religious steadfastness, or ribat.

He claimed that ‘Jewish extremists’ had stepped up their efforts to encourage religious ascension to the Temple Mount — Judaism’s holiest site and Islam’s third-holiest, home to the al-Haram ash-Sharif sanctuary and the al-Aqsa Mosque — during the High Holidays, which began on Sunday and end on October 5.

‘Who do we oppose? Only extremist Jews who come with aggressive intentions, who want to harm al-Aqsa, build [the third Jewish] Temple, or pray overtly,’ he said…”

Saudi King Asks Obama to Stop ‘Israeli Attacks’ on Temple Mount

September 18, 2015Israel National News reports: “Saudi Arabia’s King Salman on Thursday night phoned President Barack Obama to condemn Israel for what was termed its ‘grave escalation’ on the Temple Mount.

According to the official Saudi Press Agency, during the phone call, the King ‘expressed, in strong wordings, condemnation and disapproval of the grave Israeli escalation, at Al Aqsa Mosque, in Al-Quds, brutal aggression against worshippers at its plazas and the violation of the sanctity of Islamic sanctuaries.’

The King reportedly called for internationally concerted, serious and expedited efforts to stop this so-called ‘aggression’ and called for intervention by the UN Security Council ‘to take all prompt measurements to stop violating the sacredness of Al-Aqsa Mosque, protect the Palestinian people and religious sanctuaries [and] awarding the Palestinian people its legitimate rights.’

The White House confirmed in a statement of its own that Obama and the Saudi King had spoken, but would only say the two ‘discussed regional issues, including Yemen and recent violence and tensions at Jerusalem’s Haram Al-Sharif/Temple Mount.’…”

Hamas: Israeli actions on Temple Mount are ‘declaration of war’

September 15, 2015The Times of Israel reports: “Israeli actions on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem are tantamount to a ‘declaration of war,’ a senior official from the Islamist Hamas organization said Tuesday, as Israeli police and Muslim protesters clashed at the al-Aqsa Mosque for the third consecutive day.

The mosque is situated on the Temple Mount, a flashpoint site holy to both Jews and Muslims. Jewish visitors are permitted onto the Mount, which overlooks the Western Wall, but are not allowed to pray there.

‘The Israeli escalation on the Temple Mount is a declaration of war,’ said Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri, according to Israel’s Walla website. He called on the international community to rein in Israel ‘before the situation explodes.’…”
