ISRAEL VS. HAMAS

Netanyahu: ‘I’m telling Hamas, the rules are changing soon’

May 9, 2025Israel National News reports: “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited a training exercise of the IDF’s 5th Brigade reserve brigade) on Thursday at the Ground Training Center in Tze’elim…

During his visit, Netanyahu stated, ‘During the visit, the Prime Minister said: ‘We are determined to achieve two goals: one – to defeat Hamas, to defeat Hamas, to eliminate Hamas. The second thing, of course, at the same time – to release our hostages.’

‘Today we mark the 53rd anniversary of the operation to free the hostages on the Sabena plane,’ Netanyahu recalled. ‘I was there, I was wounded there. The spirit has not changed – it is exactly the same spirit that I see here that pulsates among the soldiers and commanders, and unites the ranks with one goal – to achieve a great victory.’

‘This victory also includes the defeat of Hamas, also the release of our hostages,’ Netanyahu added. ‘This victory goes beyond that. It radiates over the entire region. To this day, we have changed the face of the Middle East. We brought Hezbollah to its knees, Hamas – below its knees, the Assad regime has fallen. Iran has also felt the reach of our arms. We have more challenges, but we have a strong spirit.’

‘To Hamas, I say one thing: the rules are going to change very soon,’ the Prime Minister concluded…”  (As was mentioned earlier in this Briefing, in the book of Psalm, there are several imprecatory psalms where the author calls down calamity, destruction, and God’s anger and judgment on his enemies.  Psalm 69 was mentioned then, another one is Psalm 5:

Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation.  Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.  My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.  For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.  The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.  Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.  But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.  Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.  For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.  Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.  But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.  For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield – Psalm 5:1-12.  See the next two reports.)

Ex-Navy chief: Without crushing Hamas, Gaza victory will be meaningless

May 16, 2025Israel National News reports: “Maj. Gen. (res.) Eliezer Marom, former commander of the Israeli Navy, explained Friday morning what he believes is necessary to achieve victory in Gaza.

In an interview with 103FM Radio, he explained, ‘We need to strike Hamas as hard as possible, while simultaneously working toward an arrangement. It’s complex and difficult, but there is no other choice.’

‘Suppose we end the war, leave the Strip, and Hamas remains intact with its weapons after all hostages are released — what have we achieved? All the efforts of the past year and a half would be in vain, and we’d have to return to Gaza again and again.’

He noted, ‘Using force isn’t ideal, but if done gradually and wisely, there’s a chance that Hamas will eventually say, ‘I’m want this,’ and we’ll reach a solution — even if it’s not an optimal one. There are about 3 million Palestinians in Judea and Samaria, and 2 million in Gaza, and none of them like us.’

According to him, Hamas wants a new deal to maintain some form of control in Gaza…”

We cannot go back to the reality of October 7th. We have two main objectives before us: the return of the hostages and the defeat of Hamas,’ Zamir told the troops…”
