Lebanese MP slams Hezbollah for Beirut strike, says ‘time is up, now we need actions’
The Jerusalem Post reports: “The Lebanese MP Fouad Makhzoumi said on Sunday that ‘the time for action has come’ in a social media post criticizing the Hezbollah terror organization for the recent Israeli strike in Beirut.
‘Beirut was struck today. Our capital, weary from crises and the wounds of years, finds itself once again at the heart of danger, while the Lebanese feel that the blow has struck all of Lebanon, not just Beirut alone,’ Makhzoumi wrote.
‘And at the very moment when the country needs protection and stability, Hezbollah continues to drag Lebanon to the brink of confrontation, after deploying its war media just two days ago with videos threatening rockets, drones, and field operations,’ he added.
He also assured that ‘words were no longer enough,’ and that it was not going to be enough just to condemn Hezbollah’s presence in the Lebanese capital. ‘We need actions, not words,’ he demanded…”
