A Florida pastor has filed a lawsuit against OpenAI, alleging that the company’s ChatGPT AI chatbot offered harmful medical recommendations that nearly cost him his life when he suffered a pulmonary embolism in 2025. At one point, the AI tool told the pastor, “God did not design your body to endlessly fail.”
