Father Jailed after Calling Transgender Child His ‘Daughter’ and Using Wrong Pronouns

March 23, 2021 — ChristianHeadlines.com reports: “A Canadian father was jailed this month after he disobeyed a court order and refused to call his 14-year-old biological daughter – who identifies as male – his ‘son’.

The controversial case has drawn worldwide attention, mostly because it includes a father and mother who disagree over the child’s best interests. The couple is separated.

The father, Robert Hoogland, is under a court order not to discuss the case in public. The court also has ordered him to call the child his ‘son’ and to use only the child’s preferred pronouns, ‘he’ and ‘him.’ Hoogland, though, has refused to obey the court. He even set up a fundraising website detailing information about the case in defiance of the court order.

Hoogland opposes giving the child puberty blockers, believing the child might grow up to regret the decision. The mother, the medical system and the courts have endorsed puberty blockers for the child…”  (Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! – Isaiah 5:20.  In 2016 New York City released a list of 31 genders – in 2014 Facebook listed 58 gender options – in 2018, Tumblr has a list of 112 genders.  A recent poll of British adults believe that people should not only be able to choose their gender, but their age, race, and even species.  Will this madness ever end?  II Timothy 3 states: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.  Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.  But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their’s also was.  But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,  Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.  Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.  But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;  And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.  See the next report.)

If USA Today Is ‘Coming for Oral Roberts,’ It’s Coming for all Christians, Mohler Warns

March 26, 2021 — ChristianHeadlines.com reports: “Seminary president Albert Mohler says a new USA Today column labeling Oral Roberts University as ‘bigoted’ should serve as a warning to Christians and faith-based institutions everywhere of the direction society is heading.

The column by USA Today writer Hemal Jhaveri criticized Oral Roberts’ Bible-based policies, including its handbook that says students should avoid ‘sexual promiscuity,’ such as ‘adultery, any homosexual behavior [and] premarital sex.’ Jhaveri said the ‘university’s deeply bigoted anti-LGBTQ+ policies can’t and shouldn’t be ignored’ even if its men’s basketball team has advanced to the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16.

Oral Roberts and schools like it, she argued, should not be allowed in the NCAA Tournament and should be booted from the NCAA itself. ‘Any and all anti-LGBTQ+ language in any school’s policies should ban them from NCAA competition,’ she wrote.

Mohler, speaking Thursday on his The Briefing podcast, said the column represents a ‘huge development’ in framing the issue.

‘Just imagine the language that was used in this article … and recognize if it’s said about Oral Roberts University today, it will be said about you, your school, your church, your organization, your Christian congregation, tomorrow. Count on it,’ Mohler said…”

Palm Sunday Suicide Bombers Attack Christian Church in Indonesia

March 29, 2021 — Breitbart.com reports: “A suicide bombing outside a cathedral after Palm Sunday Mass on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi has injured more than a dozen churchgoers, some seriously.

The blast took place Sunday morning outside the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cathedral in Makassar, capital of South Sulawesi province, as worshipers were leaving the church at the start of Holy Week. Palm Sunday, the first day of Holy Week, commemorates Jesus’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem days before his passion and crucifixion.

Two perpetrators are said to be responsible for the explosion, both of whom died. Inspector General Argo Yuwono, spokesman for the national police, said the injured suffered from wounds around their necks, chests, and legs, adding that some had blisters on their hands and feet…”  (If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.  If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.  Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.  But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.  If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.  He that hateth me hateth my Father also.  If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.  But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.  But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:  And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning” – John 15:18-27.)

UN: 34 Million People ‘Knocking at Famine’s Door’ Worldwide

March 12, 2021 — Voice of America News reports: “The U.N. secretary-general said Thursday that more than 88 million people were suffering from acute hunger in countries affected by conflict and instability at the end of 2020, and at least 34 million of them face possible famine this year.

‘Today, I have one simple message: If you don’t feed people, you feed conflict,’ Antonio Guterres told a meeting of the U.N. Security Council on the links between war and hunger. ‘Conflict drives hunger and famine. And hunger and famine drive conflict.’

He said 34 million people in over three dozen countries were just a step away from famine. Famine is already present in pockets of some countries…”  (Revelation 6:5,6: And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his handAnd I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and wine.”

Famine and inflation usually follow war. The rider on the black horse produces these tragic twin sorrows upon earth. Ezekiel prophesied this hour: And thy meat which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time thou shalt eat it. Thou shalt drink also water by measure… behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care (Ezekiel 4:10, 11, 16). Leviticus 26:26 states: Ye shall eat, and not be satisfied. This is pictured by the pair of balances in our text. The angel in Revelation 6:6 also cries, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny. In Bible times laborers received a denarius, or one penny, as an entire day’s wages (see Matthew 20:2). A measure would be sixteen of our American ounces. Think of it! An entire day’s wages for a loaf of bread! No wonder Moses said, Ye shall eat, and not be satisfied. A man will have to spend everything he has just for the necessities of life.)

Mozambique insurgency: Militants beheading children, aid agency reports

March 16, 2021 — BBC.com reports: “Aid agency Save the Children says Islamist militants are beheading children as young as 11 in Mozambique’s northern province of Cabo Delgado.

One mother told the agency she had had to watch as her 12-year-old son was killed in this way close to where she was hiding with her other children.

More than 2,500 people have been killed and 700,000 have fled their homes since an Islamist insurgency began in 2017.

The militants are linked to the Islamic State (IS) group…”  (Romans 3:13 – 18 describes the barbaric acts of the murderous Islamic terrorists found in 47 different groups: Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes.  See the next report.)

Islamic State Celebrates Mozambique Gas Hub Massacre

April 2, 2021 — Breitbart.com reports: “The Islamic State (ISIS) claimed responsibility for last week’s attack on the Mozambican town of Palma, a local news site reported on Tuesday.

Hundreds of terrorists believed to be tied to ISIS stormed Palma on March 24. The resort town lies north of a natural gas processing plant that employs large numbers of foreign workers throughout the area. The jihadis laid siege to Palma, infiltrating military barracks, banks, shops, and homes.

The Islamic State formally claimed responsibility for Palma’s seizure through its online propaganda outlet, the Amaq News Agency, on March 29, saying the attack had ’resulted in the deaths of 55 Mozambican forces and Christians including contractors from outside the country.’

A Mozambican affiliate of ISIS known locally as Shabaab, or ‘the youth’ in Arabic, carried out the assault on Palma, according to the Associated Press…”
