Analysis: Why is no one talking about Iran digging a new unbombable nuke facility?

February 17, 2022 — The Jerusalem Post reports: “Iran is developing a new nuclear threat that could be a game-changer – and which will continue to proceed regardless of whether there is a nuclear deal or not.

It is a problem that almost no one is talking about, in an area called Natanz where the Mossad allegedly blew up two different nuclear facilities in July 2020 and April 2021 respectively.

The new enormous nuclear threat is a new underground facility Iran is digging and building in the Natanz area which goes so deep under a mountain so large that it will leave the Fordow facility in the dust in terms of how difficult it would be for the IDF to strike it.

In a report, Institute for Science and International Security president David Albright wrote, ‘Fordow is already viewed as so deeply buried that it would be difficult to destroy via aerial attack. The new Natanz site may be even harder to destroy.’

Why no one is talking about it – other than Albright – is probably a mix of it being an issue that may not fully mature until 2023 and that there are few good options for addressing…”  (Iran’s goal is found in Psalm 83:4: Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.  As Dr. Van Impe has emphatically stated before – it won’t happen.  God has promised: …I will give them [Israel] an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off – Isaiah 56:5.)

‘We’ll do whatever necessary to prevent Iran from getting nukes’

February 21, 2022 — Israel National News reports: “Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid vowed Monday that Israel will do whatever it believes necessary to prevent Iran from approaching nuclear weapons capabilities, saying that the Jewish state will not consider itself bound by any new nuclear deal reached in talks at Vienna.

Speaking at the 40th Jerusalem conference of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, Lapid slammed former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s approach towards the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, arguing that he had been too confrontational with the Obama administration, isolating Democrats.

‘Restoring…the bipartisan stature of Israel in Washington. We are working very good with this administration on many issues: the Abraham Accords, the economy, Syria, a lot of security issues.’

‘On the JCPOA, we disagree, but we disagree in a manner that helps us work with them on the results of the disagreement, and on other issues.’

‘The return to the JCPOA is a return to a weaker agreement, just because of the time,’ Lapid continued, referencing the ‘sunset’ clause of the 2015 nuclear deal, by which certain restrictions on Iran’s nuclear program are set to expire 10 years after the deal’s signing…”  (Iran will be blotted out when Russia, China, and Islamic nations fight Israel and her allies during Armageddon – Revelation 16:16.  The battle is described in Ezekiel 39:1 – 5: …thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:  And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel: And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand. Lapid: Israel not bound by nuclear deal with Iran

February 21, 2022 — Israel National News reports: “Foreign Minister Yair Lapid addressed the reports that the Western powers are close to a new nuclear deal with Iran at the start of the weekly Yesh Atid faction meeting Monday.

‘A bad nuclear agreement is going to be signed in Vienna. It’s the same deal that was signed in 2015 which restricted Iranian uranium enrichment for ten years. But they didn’t do one straightforward thing: they didn’t update the timeline’, Lapid said.

‘They left the same expiration date in 2025 on a large portion of the restrictions on Iran. In two and a half years, many of the restrictions on Iran will disappear. Iran will be able to put advanced centrifuges back into action, and enrich uranium for a bomb.

‘And if that’s not enough, Iran is asking the world powers for a bonus: to cancel the designation of the Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization. Iran wants the umbrella organization of Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, and the Houthis not to be designated as a terrorist organization…

‘Israel will continue to conduct a serious and honest dialogue with the American government, as friends do, in order to make sure an agreement isn’t the end of the matter. Even if it is signed, we’ll continue our fight against the Iranian nuclear program and against Iranian terror.

‘Let me be clear: we aren’t subject to this agreement. Israel will defend itself, by itself. We have a strong Army, we have the Mossad, we have a determined government, and we won’t hesitate to act in order to prevent Iran from achieving its goal,’ Lapid concluded…”

Khamenei rejects ‘absurd’ claims Iran wants an atomic bomb

February 17, 2022 — The Times of Israel reports: “Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei dismisses as ‘absurd’ claims his country wants to acquire atomic weapons, in remarks amid signs of a breakthrough in nuclear talks.

The Islamic Republic is locked in negotiations with world powers to revive a 2015 deal that offered it sanctions relief in return for curbs on its nuclear program.

In comments on state television, Khamenei says Iran ‘has to think about tomorrow’ and that ‘sooner or later we will urgently need peaceful nuclear energy.’

‘You can notice how the enemy alliance is pressing cruelly our nuclear issue,’ the supreme leader says. ‘They have imposed sanctions on our nuclear energy, when they know very well that it is peaceful.’

‘They claim Iran will produce the bomb in some time, absurd words that make no sense and they know it very well themselves,’ says Khamenei…”    (The goal of Islam is a worldwide caliphate under Sharia Law.  In 1979 the Grand Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini stated: “The governments of the world should know that…Islam will be victorious in all the countries of the world, and Islam and the teaching of the Quran will prevail over all the world.”  He then stated in 1981: “I say let Iran go up in smoke, provided Islam emerges triumphant in the rest of the world.”  That certainly sounds like a desire for an atomic bomb.)
