Judge: LGBT law forcing Christians to violate beliefs is no threat to churches

July 21, 2021 — WND.com reports: “A judge in Virginia has given his opinion that a state law that has forced churches to censor their beliefs on marriage, sexuality and gender from their own websites under the threat of huge fines is not inflicting any damage on those institutions.

A report from Just the News has outlined the recent claim from Judge James Plowman of Loudoun County, in a case brought by Calvary Road Baptist Church, Community Fellowship Church, Community Christian Academy and Care Net, a ministry.

They had to remove their own biblical beliefs from their websites because of the threat from a state law that is charged with violating the Virginia Bill of Rights and the state Religious Freedom Restoration Act by forcing ministries to violate their beliefs.

The law allows no exemption from its LGBT mandates for religious organizations.

The state is threatening $100,000 fines per violation as well as ‘unlimited compensatory and punitive damages,’ the churches have confirmed…”  (Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! – Isaiah 5:20.  In 2016 New York City released a list of 31 genders – in 2014 Facebook listed 58 gender options – in 2018, Tumblr has a list of 112 genders.  A recent poll of British adults believe that people should not only be able to choose their gender, but their age, race, and even species.  Will this madness ever end?  II Timothy 3 states: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.  Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.  But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their’s also was.  But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,  Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.  Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.  But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;  And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.)

Shock: Americans ditch biblical worldview for ‘fake Christianity’

July 7, 2021 — WND.com reports: “American Christianity has fallen. Thanks to cultural corrosion and a lack of biblical literacy, a new ‘fake Christianity’ has raked the dry ground of the American church.

This counterfeit religion is moralistic therapeutic deism, a worldview that has quickly gained prominence and given many Americans a theology that looks nothing like historical Christianity, despite what they may claim.

George Barna, director of research at Arizona Christian University, said MTD — or ‘watered-down, feel-good, fake Christianity’ — is ‘the most popular worldview in the United States today,’ according to Christianity Daily. A recent poll conducted by ACU found that 38 percent of adults hold this view…”  (Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it. – Amos 8:11-12.  There is a famine of the Word of God in America, a famine caused by pastors who as Dr. Van Impe often stated “Preach little sermonettes that create Christianettes.  There is no substance to their messages.  Hadden Robinson, author of Biblical Preaching: The Development and Delivery of Expository Messages was lecturing his students on preparation for preaching and said “If it’s a mist in the pulpit, it’ll be a fog in the pews.”  Paul wrote to Timothy: I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry – II Timothy 4:1-5.  Pastors, teach your people!)

India’s Christians are facing an ‘existential threat’ – Open Doors

July 2, 2021 — ChristianToday.com reports: “Hindu nationalism is driving a wave of violent persecution against Christians in India, human rights group Open Doors has warned.

Its new report, ‘Destructive Lies’, provides disturbing accounts of widespread violence and intimidation, with Christians at risk of harassment, rape and murder.

The report warns that Christians in India are now facing an ‘existential threat’, with the persecution being blamed on violent Hindu nationalists who subscribe to Hindutva, a form of nationalism that defines Indian identity solely in terms of Hinduism and sees all faiths and philosophies not indigenous to India as ‘un-Indian’ intruders into the nation.

In one shocking incident, a woman gave birth to a stillborn baby after being violently kicked in the stomach by a Hindu nationalist mob.

In another attack, a labourer was entrapped, beaten by a mob and then left to die in a cell by police…”  (If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.  If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.  Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.  But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.  If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.  He that hateth me hateth my Father also.  If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.  But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.  But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:  And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning” – John 15:18-27.  See the next report.)

Chinese Concentration Camp Survivor: I Saw People Tortured for Denying Xi Jinping Is God

July 8, 2021 — Breitbart.com reports: “Zumrat Dawut, a Uyghur woman who endured two months in a Chinese concentration camp, told Breitbart News in an interview Monday that she witnessed Communist Party officers torture and disappear people who refused to accept dictator Xi Jinping as their god.

Dawut escaped China’s western Xinjiang region, which Uyghurs refer to as East Turkestan, in 2019 and relocated with her Pakistani husband and their children to Virginia. Prior to her escape, however — for which she credits her husband’s non-Chinese citizenship — police forced her into one of the over 1,200 concentration camps established throughout East Turkestan for Uyghurs, Kazakhs, Kyrgyz people, and other Muslim ethnic minorities. Dawut has testified repeatedly to her experience in that camp despite stating that Communist Party authorities forced her to vow to renounce Islam and never speak of her time in the camp again…”
