Persecuted church: Stop removing ‘Son of God’ from Bibles

WND.com reports: “A new Bible translation that alters references to God as ‘Father’ and Jesus as ‘Son of God’ is ‘unacceptable and unusable,’ charge representatives of the Alliance of Protestant Churches in Turkey.

‘As leaders of local Protestant churches,’ the leaders said they find ‘the misleading translations of these very important and foundational New Testament terms to be wrong and extremely adverse.’

‘We most certainly cannot approve of it,’ a letter from the organization said.

Biblical Missiology is one of the groups criticizing the new Turkish translation and others in languages in the Muslim world.

‘How is it the ‘West’ knows what’s best for the national churches on the front lines, who are pressed in every way, who have sacrificed their lives for the gospel and have to live with the ramifications of these translations and methodologies?’ asked the group, which posted the letter from Turkish leaders on its website…” (Praise God for genuine Christians in the Alliance of Protestant Churches in Turkey, a Muslim nation. These beloved believers have buried loved ones who died for the doctrine of Jesus being the Son of God and they won’t change because of apostate Christians whose hands and hearts have destroyed God’s everlasting Word – Romans 16:17; Ephesians 5:11; II Corinthians 6:18. Iran: Discovery will collapse Christianity

WND.com reports: “Iran’s Basij Press is claiming that a version of the Gospel of Barnabas, found in 2000, will prove that Islam is the final and righteous religion and the revelation will cause the collapse worldwide of Christianity.

Turkey confiscated a leather-bound text, written on animal hide, in an anti-smuggling operation in 2000. Turkish authorities believe the text could be an authentic version of the Gospel of Barnabas, one of Jesus’ apostles and an associate of the apostle Paul.

This version of the Barnabas Gospel was written in the 5th or 6th century and it predicted the coming of the Prophet Mohammad and the religion of Islam, the Basij Press claims.

The Christian world, it says, denies the existence of such a gospel…”

‘Muslim Brotherhood will Terrorize Christians,’ Warns Candidate

Israel National News reports: “Presidential candidate Ahmed Shafiq hit hard at the Muslim Brotherhood on two fronts, warning that an Islamist victory will lead to terrorizing Christians and accusing the Brotherhood of trying to make ‘Palestine’ the central issue for Egyptians.

Shafiq was a close aide to ousted Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, and the Brotherhood took the offensive after the life sentence for Mubarak, instead of death, and the acquittal of his two sons regarding their involvement in the murder of hundreds of protesters last year…

In an unusually sharp attack, Shafiq accused the Brotherhood of acting as if ‘Palestine is the capital of Egypt.’ He said that Egyptians face several domestic issues that should not be overshadowed by the status of the Palestinian Authority, whose Hamas faction was founded by the Brotherhood.

‘Don’t let the Muslim Brotherhood control Egypt and take it to the dark ages,’ Shafiq declared…” (Brotherhood thugs hate Jews and Christians and fulfill such Biblical texts as Matthew 24:9; John 16:2; Revelation 6:9; Revelation 20:4.)
