Hamas begins ‘series of consultations’ in response to Trump’s Gaza peace proposal
The Jerusalem Post reports: “Hamas has ‘begun a series of consultations’ to discuss US President Donald Trump’s 20-point peace plan, a Palestinian source close to the terror group told AFP on Tuesday.
The plan, which was backed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, would see the terror group disarm and release the remaining 48 hostages.
‘Hamas has begun a series of consultations within its political and military leaderships, both inside Palestine and abroad,’ the anonymous source said.
‘The discussions could take several days due to the complexities of communication among leadership members and movements, especially after the Israeli aggression in Doha,’ the source added.
