The Jerusalem Post reports: “The cyber threats which Israel and the US face are far greater than what has been reported and what the public could imagine, IDF Communications and Cyber Defense Command Chief Maj. Gen. Aviad Dagan said on Tuesday.

While senior cyber officials frequently talk about hacks leading to the disclosure of hundreds of millions or billions of passwords and data, Dagan warned that there have been dozens of attacks that could have harmed real-world national critical infrastructure.

Dagan warned that Israel’s assumption must be that future cyber attacks will dwarf what it has seen to date, and that the IDF’s efforts must jump in intensity to combat the threat…”
