NEWS FROM ISRAEL

‘We’re basically in World War Three’

September 20, 2017 — Israel National News reports: “In an interview with Arutz Sheva, philanthropist Kenneth Abramowitz spoke about Iran, terror organizations, and US President Donald Trump’s first speech at the United Nations General Assembly.

Abramowitz is the co-founder of NGN Capital and founder of a blog about the threats facing the West called SaveTheWest.com.

‘Mr. Trump is the clearest it’s been in a long time,’ Abramowitz said, noting that the US President could still be ‘a little more clear.’

‘In the Middle East, we are fighting four terror organizations,’ he explained. ‘People think we’re fighting ISIS, Al-Qaeda. They also know we’re fighting Iran, which is the number one terror organization today. But we’re also fighting the Muslim Brotherhood, financed by Turkey and Qatar, who are half friends, half enemies… And we’re also fighting the Wahhabis financed by Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, who are half friends half enemies.’

‘Trump is the best we can do, but he still does not have quite the clear enough picture to realize we’re fighting four terror organizations at the same time.’

Regarding cohesion within the Trump administration, Abramowitz said, ‘Trump has a good vision of whats going on. Not all his security advisers are on the same page, but knowing Trump, he’ll just make sure the security advisers come onto the same page. ‘

According to Abramowitz, war is inevitable.

‘We’re basically in World War Three,’ he said. ‘Iran has promised to kill everyone in America: Death to America, genocide against America, [and] now genocide against Israel, too. But as President of the United States, he has a responsibility to protect us.’…”  (World War III is coming – it is called the Battle of Armageddon.  This is the closing battle of three and one-half years of skirmish in the Middle East. It begins with Russia’s invasion of Israel after the peace contract of Daniel 9:27 is broken [Ezekiel 38:15, 16]. Additional participants include the kings under the Antichrist from the West [Daniel 7:24; Revelation 13:1], kings of the East under China [Daniel 11:44; Revelation 16:12], and kings of the south, involving much of Africa [Daniel 11:11].  Miracles performed through satanic power will convince the leaders of the earth, who are subservient to the Antichrist, to move all of their military might to the Middle East to do battle with Christ at His return to the Mount of Olives [Zechariah 14:4; Revelation 16:14].  They will not be disappointed: Christ will come. The Battle of Armageddon climaxes the campaign as the Lord and His armies appear from heaven. The armies of earth will march to their doom, expecting to destroy the Christ they have rejected [Joel 3:9-14; Psalm 2:2, 3; Revelation 19:11-21]. Christ, the living Word of God returns, riding on a white horse. His eyes are as a flame of fire and his vesture dipped in blood bears the name, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Followed by the armies of heaven, He will smite the nations and cause the Beast and the False Prophet to be cast into the Lake of Fire.  It will be the bloodiest battle in the history of the world. Militarists from the four corners of the earth will battle Almighty God and the hosts of heaven [Psalm 2:2; Isaiah 34:2; Zechariah 14:3; Revelation 9:16] will engage in the earth’s greatest power struggle. So great will be the destruction resulting that the blood will reach to the horse’s bridles for 200 miles and it will require mankind seven months to bury the dead [Revelation 14:20; Ezekiel 39:12].)

‘Count down days to death’ in Israel

October 9, 2017 — WND.com reports: “In one of the fieriest speeches directed at Israel by Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, he called for the ethnic cleansing of all Jews in Israel, the destruction of the Jewish state and told Israelis to begin a ‘count down to death.’

The speech echoed recent rhetoric recently by the Iranian regime and its military officials, who said Tel Aviv would be ‘destroyed’ if Israel made ‘a mistake,’ and that Israel would not survive for more than 25 years.

‘Israel should remain silent and count down the days to its death, because any minor mistake would lead to its demise as fast as lightning,’ said Iranian army commander Maj.-Gen. Abdolrahim Mousavi.

The Investigative Project on Terrorism said the threats contain two messages.

‘The first message is a reaffirmation of the Shi’ite axis’s jihadist, ideological, long-term commitment to Israel’s destruction,’ the report said. ‘The second message is more immediate; it is an attempt to deter Israeli decision makers from trying to stop Iran and its proxies from taking over Syria.’…”  (The nations may say: “…Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance” – Psalm 83:4.  It won’t work.  God declares: “… I will give them [Israel] an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off” – Isaiah 56:5.)

New UNRWA textbooks for Palestinians demonize Israel and Jews

September 28, 2017 — The Jerusalem Post reports: “New schoolbooks used in United Nations Relief and Works Agency schools in Gaza and the West Bank display extreme anti-Israel and anti-Jewish sentiments and no hope for peace in the region, according to a study released on Wednesday by the Center for Near East Policy Research, The Simon Wiesenthal Center and the Middle East Forum.

The research, authored by Arab textbooks expert Dr. Aaron Groiss in collaboration with leaders of each of the involved organizations, examined some 150 textbooks of various school subjects, taught in grades one through 12. Seventy-five of the books checked were published in the years 2016 and 2017, as part of a new project initiated by the Palestinian Authority, which provides its curriculum to UNRWA schools.

The contents of the books were analyzed focusing on the depiction of the Jewish/Israeli ‘other,’ which revealed three fundamentals: delegitimization, demonization and indoctrination to violent struggle instead of peace.

According to the Palestinian schoolbooks, Jews have no rights whatsoever in the region but only ‘greedy ambitions.’ The books also say that Jews have no holy places there either – the Western Wall in Jerusalem, the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron and Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem are all presented as Muslim holy places threatened by Jews.

The study also shows that cities established by Jews in modern times, including Tel Aviv, are sometimes not shown on maps. ‘Israel is not a legitimate state according to the PA schoolbooks studied at UNRWA schools,’ the study says. ‘The name ‘Israel’ does not appear on the map at all.’…” (The Jewish people have long been blamed for all of the world’s ills.  All throughout history they have been the universal scapegoat.  Incredibly, even the awful plague of the Black Death that swept Europe was blamed on the Jews. They were accused of having poisoned wells with a powder made of spiders, frog legs, Christian entrails, and consecrated hosts (Communion bread). The public wrath that resulted from that fantastic tale brought about the slaughter of thousands of Jews and the complete extermination of two hundred Jewish communities.  This can be traced back to the father of anti-Semitism – Satan who “…stood up against Israel” – I Chronicles 21:1.  God loves His Chosen People – “…I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee” – Jeremiah 31:3.)

Waqf: Temple Mount is exclusively for Muslims

October 6, 2017 — Israel National News reports: “The Jerusalem Waqf office, which is subordinate to the Jordanian Waqf office, condemned the decision of the Jerusalem police to prevent Arabs from playing soccer on the Temple Mount.

In a statement, the Waqf said that it does not recognize the authority of the ‘Zionist courts’ to intervene in the affairs of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and therefore refused to respond to the summons sent by the courts to hear claims filed against it.

‘We emphasize time and time again that the 144 dunams (35 acres) mosque is an Islamic mosque which belongs to Muslims exclusively, and there is no right for any Israeli entity, whether governmental or legal, to interfere in the affairs of this mosque,’ the Waqf’s statement said.

‘We do not recognize any legal decision or decision by the Israeli courts, which do not bind the Muslims and the Islamic Waqf Department, and we do not recognize the sovereignty of Israeli law over the Al-Aqsa mosque,’ Waqf officials said…”  (As was mentioned in the October 2017 edition of this Intelligence Briefing, Israel’s claim to the Temple Mount dates back to the time of Abraham, approximately 1700 BC, the first temple was started by King Solomon in 966 BC.  The Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa Mosque were built in AD 692 & AD 705.  The Temple Mount belongs to Israel.)

Iranian mosques in Austria, Germany: ‘Palestine is home of Palestinians’

October 6, 2017 — The Jerusalem Post reports: “Iranian regime-controlled mosques in Vienna and Hamburg promote genocidal antisemitism against Israel, while the Imam Ali mosque in the Austrian capital propagates discrimination against women, according to a government report and statements made this week.

The Austrian Integration Fund (ÖIF) said in its report probing 16 mosques that in the Iranian regime-controlled Imam Ali mosque, ‘the mosque is entirely on the same line as Iran’s state doctrine. Israel is not, regardless of its boundaries, recognized. The goal is the destruction of the Jewish state.’

In one of the prayer services observed at the Imam Ali mosque in February, the cleric publicized a conference for the support of the Palestinians under the motto: ‘Palestine is the home of the Palestinians.’

The imam complained during the service that the Islamic world was so occupied with its own problems that it had lost sight of the Palestinians and ‘negotiates with the ruthless usurper.’ While Israel was not mentioned by name, the pejorative descriptions are believed to have targeted the Jewish state.

The mosque is part of the Islamic Center of Vienna, which organizes the city’s annual Al-Quds Day rally calling for the obliteration of Israel. Austrian neo-Nazis have over the years participated in the rally. In June, anti-Israel activists at the march held signs stating ‘Zionism is fascism,’ according to an article in Der Standard…”  (According to the Jewish Virtual Library [http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jewish-claim-to-the-land-of-israel] – “The term “Palestine” is believed to be derived from the Philistines, an Aegean people who, in the 12th Century B.C., settled along the Mediterranean coastal plain of what is now Israel and the Gaza Strip. In the second century A.D., after crushing the last Jewish revolt, the Romans first applied the name Palaestina to Judea (the southern portion of what is now called the West Bank) in an attempt to minimize Jewish identification with the land of Israel… When Jews began to immigrate to Palestine in large numbers in 1882, fewer than 250,000 Arabs lived there, and the majority of them had arrived in recent decades. Palestine was never an exclusively Arab country, although Arabic gradually became the language of most the population after the Muslim invasions of the seventh century. No independent Arab or Palestinian state ever existed in Palestine. When the distinguished Arab-American historian, Princeton University Prof. Philip Hitti, testified against partition before the Anglo-American Committee in 1946, he said: “There is no such thing as ‘Palestine’ in history, absolutely not.” In fact, Palestine is never explicitly mentioned in the Koran, rather it is called “the holy land” (al-Arad al-Muqaddash).”  The land belongs to Israel,)
