August 16, 2021 — Israel National News reports: “Sirens sounded early Monday afternoon in Gaza-area towns in southern Israel, sending residents of Sderot, Nir Am, Ibim, and Kibbutz Erez running to bomb shelters.
Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted rockets aimed at Sderot.
The IDF confirmed the report, stating that shortly after 1:30p.m. Monday afternoon sirens sounded in Sderot and the general Gaza border area, and that one launch was identified, and intercepted.
According to Israel Hayom, local residents heard explosions and saw at least one intercept.
Magen David Adom added that so far, there have been no reports of injuries…” (They may threaten Israel, but Psalm 121 states: I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. Notice especially verse 4 – Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. During his confrontation with the prophets of Baal, Elijah mocked the prophets after they were unable to get a response from Baal. I Kings 18:27 states: And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked. God does not sleep, and He will preserve Israel. See the next two reports.)
PM says Israel will respond to Gaza rocket fire ‘at a time of our choosing’
August 18, 2021 — YnetNews.com reports: “A day after rocket fire from the Gaza Strip resumed, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett warned on Tuesday that Israel will respond at a time of its choosing.
‘We will operate at a time, place and conditions that suit us — and nobody else,’ he said while visiting IDF Gaza Division soldiers alongside Defense Minister Benny Gantz and IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Aviv Kochavi.
On Monday, rockets were launched from the Palestinian enclave into southern Israel, setting off air raid sirens in the city of Sderot as well as the border communities of Avivim, Nir Am and Erez. The attack ended three months of relative calm along the Gaza border following an 11-day conflict between Hamas and Israel in May.
The military confirmed that one rocket that was launched from Gaza was intercepted by the Iron Dome aerial defense system. Israel did not retaliate for the attack…”
Hamas escalates fight along the border
August 16, 2021 — Israel National News reports: “The Palestine Al Yawm news website, which is affiliated with the Islamic Jihad, reported on Sunday that Palestinian terrorist groups have informed the mediators and Israel that they have an additional day to lift the siege on the Gaza Strip.
Senior officials told the website that the Palestinian ‘resistance organizations’ are preparing to hold a ‘mass march’ along the border with Israel next week to send a message of protest about the continued ‘Judaization’ of Jerusalem and the prevention of the reconstruction of the Strip.
Since March 2018, the mass ‘return marches’ along the border have been characterized by violent riots, attacks on IDF soldiers, acts of sabotage of the security fence and attempts to break into Israeli territory…”
Hezbollah could escalate its response to Israel, Nasrallah warns
August 10, 2021 — YnetNews.com reports: “A day after Hezbollah fired a barrage of rockets from Lebanon at open areas in northern Israel, the head of the Iranian-backed terror group warned Saturday that it could escalate its cross-border actions against Israel in the future
Hassan Nasrallah said the group had chosen to respond Friday to IAF strikes in southern Lebanon by firing at unpopulated areas. The Israeli airstrikes in the early hours of Thursday came a day after Palestinian groups in southern Lebanon launched a salvo of rockets across the border.
Two of the rockets fired Wednesday landed close to the city of Kiryat Shmona, igniting brush fires but causing no injuries.
Israel said Friday after Hezbollah fired some 20 rockets – many of which were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system – that it had no desire for a further escalation on the border…” (There has been long history of calling for the destruction of Israel It will never happen. Almighty God has stated: …I will give them [Israel] an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off – Isaiah 56:5. Everlasting means everlasting. God promised to Abraham in Genesis 22:17: …in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the starts of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore… And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt; To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance, as it is this day. Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else. Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever – Deuteronomy 4:37 – 40. ‘Don’t test us’: Iran warns Israel against military action
August 6, 2021 — YnetNews.com reports: “Iran’s foreign ministry on Thursday warned arch-foe Israel not to take military action against the Islamic republic after it threatened Tehran over a deadly tanker attack.
‘In another brazen violation of Int’l law, Israeli regime now blatantly threatens Iran with military action,’ ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said on Twitter.
The MT Mercer Street, managed by prominent Israeli billionaire Eyal Ofer, was attacked off Oman last week.
A British security guard and a Romanian crew member were killed in what the United States, Britain and the vessel’s operator Zodiac Maritime said appeared to be a drone strike.
Khatibzadeh’s comments came after Defense Minister Benny Gantz earlier on Thursday called Iran a threat to the country, the Middle East and the entire world and warned that Israel was prepared to take action to counter it…”
