Islamic Jihad: ‘We’ll scatter the heads and bodies of Zionists on the mountaintops’

August 4, 2022Israel National News reports: “A spokesperson for the Islamic Jihad terror group’s Jenin Battalion, which is accompanied by armed activists, read out a notice threatening terror attacks against Israel in response to the arrest of Islamic Jihad leader Basa’am Asadi earlier this week.

‘We will scatter the heads of Zionists and their bodies on the mountaintops,’ the spokesperson said.

In a video attached to the threatening message, armed terrorists can be seen shooting at IDF forces during previous operations in the Jenin area…”  (Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me.  Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.  For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Lord.  They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold.  Thou therefore, O Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.  They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.  Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear?  But thou, O Lord, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.  Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.  The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.  Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.  For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.  Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.  And at evening let them return; and let them make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.  Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied.  But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.  Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy. – Psalm 59:1-17;  Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.  Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.  For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.  For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.  But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.  The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.  The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.  The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.  Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.  A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.  For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous.  The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. – Psalm 37:7-18;  Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,  Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.  He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.  Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. – Psalm 2:1-5.  See the next two reports.)

Senior Islamic Jihad official: We will bomb the center of Israel

August 4, 2022The Jerusalem Post reports: “Israel’s military is bracing for an attack near the border with Gaza, but other areas might be at risk as well.

Khaled al-Batsh, head of the politburo of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip, told The Media Line that central Israel is under threat by his organization.

‘We have every right to bomb Israel with our most advanced weapons, and make the occupier pay a heavy price. We will not settle for attacking around Gaza, but we will bomb the center of the so-called State of Israel,’ Batsh said…”

Top Islamic Jihad official: We are preparing for the next round of fighting against Israel

August 16, 2022Israel National News reports: “Khaled al-Batsh, a member of the political bureau of the Islamic Jihad, on Monday warned Israel against eliminating other senior members of the terrorist organization.

In an interview with the Voice of Al-Quds radio station and quoted by the Palestinian Arab Quds Net agency, Batsh said that the military arm of the Islamic Jihad, the Al-Quds Brigades, ‘will not hesitate to respond to any assassination of any Palestinian leader.’

Batsh noted that after each round of confrontation with Israel, the Islamic Jihad evaluates the situation and draws lessons, and on this basis ‘the effect of the military capabilities in pressuring the occupation and its encouragement to comply with our conditions could be seen.’

‘The campaign against the enemy is not carried out in a victorious blow and is not measured by the number of martyrs, but is rather a campaign for justice and it is tested by the degree of our ability to stand firm and keep our breath and protect the rights and adhere to them,’ said Batsh…”

Islamic Jihad leader to Israel: It’s either you or us in this land

August 26, 2022Israel National News reports: “The leader of the Islamic Jihad, Ziad Al-Nakhala, on Thursday accused Israel of evading the commitments it made to Egypt at the end of the last round of fighting (‘Operation Breaking Dawn’), stressing that ‘the enemy government will bear full responsibility for this.’

In the Egypt-brokered ceasefire agreement that ended Operation Breaking Dawn, Egypt undertook to work for the release of two Islamic Jihad terrorists being held in Israel, namely Bassam al-Saadi, the leader of the Islamic Jihad in Samaria, and Khalil Awawdeh, who has started a hunger strike to protest his administrative detention…

The military wing of the Islamic Jihad recently threatened measures against Israel in response to the non-release of al-Saadi and Awawdeh.

Nakhala, in a message addressed to Israel, said, ‘We say to the enemy, to those who help him and to his supporters: In this land that belongs to us, either you will be in it or we will. We will fight you forever, and we will fight you in everything and we will continue fighting until you leave.’…”  (Genesis 15:18 states: In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates  and in Joshua 1:4 we read: From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.  These verses encompass all of the land modern Israel currently possesses, plus all of the land of the Palestinians (the West Bank and Gaza), plus some of Egypt and Syria, plus all of Jordan, plus some of Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Israel currently possesses only a fraction of the land God has promised.  See the next report.)

Erdogan: Despite reconciliation with Israel, we still support the ‘Palestinian cause’

August 24, 2022Israel National News reports: “Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday that Turkey’s reconciliation efforts with Israel will in no way diminish its support for the ‘Palestinian cause’, The Associated Press reported.

Erdogan made the comments during a visit by Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas, who arrived in Ankara just one week after Turkey and Israel announced their decision to restore full diplomatic relations and reappoint ambassadors for the first time since 2018.

‘The steps taken in our relations with Israel will in no way reduce our support for the Palestinian cause,’ Erdogan said. ‘On the contrary, our Palestinian brothers also express that these steps will contribute to a solution to the Palestinian issue and improve the situation of the Palestinian people.’

Abbas did not comment directly on the rapprochement between Turkey and Israel, but thanked Turkey for its ‘unwavering’ support to the Palestinians…”
