‘If U.S. attacks, Israel will be destroyed in half an hour’

July 2, 2019 — Israel National News reports: “A senior Iranian parliamentarian threatened on Monday that Israel will be destroyed in half an hour if the United States attacks Iran, the semi-official Iranian Mehr news agency reported.

Mojtaba Zonnour, Chairman of Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, made the remarks in an interview with the Al-Alam TV network.

‘If the US attacks us, only half an hour will remain of Israel’s lifespan,’ he declared.

Zonnour said that US President Donald Trump’s claim that he stopped a retaliatory military strike on Iran 10 minutes before it was set to start was a ‘political bluff’.

‘If they (the Americans) had predicted their attack would be successful, they would not have cancelled it and it would definitely have happened,’ said the Iranian lawmaker, who added that the US president’s advisors could see the failure of the attack.

Top Iran military adviser threatens to ‘erase’ Israel if war breaks out

June 27, 2019 — The Times of Israel reports: “A top Iranian defense official said the Americans are fully aware that their assets in the Middle East can be destroyed by Iran’s missiles and know that should war break out in the region, it would not be a ‘walk in the park.’

In a June 20 interview on Iraq’s Alnujaba TV, translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) monitoring group and posted to social media Sunday, former Iranian defense minister Gen. Hossein Dehghan said Iran’s military could destroy US military bases in the region and annihilate Israel.

‘Our missiles can totally obliterate those bases,’ Dehghan said. ‘Israel knows that Iran will erase its entity and uproot it from existence in case of a war.’

Dehghan said US President Donald Trump and his country fear the outbreak of war because they are unable to get global legal legitimacy for an attack or assemble an international coalition against Iran. He warned that if war broke out, America would find itself in the ‘garbage bin of history.’…”

Hezbollah warns Iran able to bombard Israel if war started

July 14, 2019 — Israel National News reports: “The head of Lebanon’s Tehran-backed Hezbollah said Friday that US ally Israel would not be ‘neutral’ if a war broke out between the United States and Iran.

And ‘Iran is able to bombard Israel with ferocity and force,’ Hassan Nasrallah said in an interview broadcast on Hezbollah’s Al-Manar television.

His remarks came after weeks of increasing tensions between the United States and Iran, and as US President Donald Trump steps up his war of words with the Islamic Republic.

‘When the Americans understand that this war could wipe out Israel, they will reconsider,’ Nasrallah said.

‘Our collective responsibility in the region is to work towards preventing an American war on Iran,’ he said…”
