NEWS FROM ISRAEL AND THE MIDDLE EAST

Iran leader: We must prep for ‘end of times’

WND.com reports: “Iran’s supreme leader, for the first time, is telling his nation that it must prepare for war and ‘the end of times’ as it continues to develop nuclear weapons.

State-owned media outlets, in a coordinated effort, all ran a similar story highlighting Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s message on the coming of the last Islamic messiah.

Until now, the Iranian media would mostly quote clerics from seminaries on the issue of the last Islamic messiah to avoid the regime being labeled messianic. However, the wide publication of Khamenei’s statements on a need to prepare for the end of times as it confronts the West over its illicit nuclear program is alarming to Western leaders…

Shiite theology holds that great wars must engulf the Earth, during which one-third of the world’s population will die in the fighting and another third from hunger, lawlessness and havoc. Israel is to be destroyed, and only then will the 12th imam, Mahdi, reappear and kill all the infidels, raising the flag of Islam in all corners of the world…” (The above warning should be sounded from every pulpit in America and Canada. The Islamic goal to raise their flag over all the world is not an idle threat. Five global Islamic leaders are sounding the same warning. Citizens of North America horrendous days are ahead. It’s time to do away with our rock and roll latte filled morning services and fall on our faces in old fashioned godly prayer obeying II Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.“)

Muslim cleric: Jerusalem to be Egypt’s capital

WND.com reports: “According to a prominent Egyptian cleric, if Muslim Brotherhood candidate Mohammed Mursi wins the presidential election, Egypt’s new capital no longer will be Cairo.

According to Safwat Hagazy, Egypt’s new capital will be Jerusalem.

These claims were made at a presidential rally aired on the Egyptian Al-Nas TV station on May 1 and later re-posted on YouTube with English subtitles being added by MEMRI, the Middle East Media Research Institute…

In the video, crowds are seen waving both Egyptian, as well as Hamas flags.

Hagazy’s speech continued to call for ‘millions’ of ‘shaheeds’ or Muslim martyrs in the march to take Jerusalem…” (Mohammed Mursi has won the presidency of Egypt. The Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood is the most anti-Jew terror group ever. Their boast of making Jerusalem Egypt’s capital is the most hateful and biblically ignorant claim according to both the Old and New Testaments. 930 times the Holy Scriptures inform the world that our Jesus will sit on David’s throne in Jerusalem and rule the world upon our Savior’s return – Psalm 2:6; Zechariah 2:10; Isaiah 59:20; Matthew 5:35; and Luke 1:32, and 33.)

Fatah to Israel: Do What We Want, or Face Intifada

Israel National News reports: “If Israel does not surrender all the lands liberated in the Six Day War of 1967, set up an Arab state with Jerusalem as its capital, and make significant concessions in accepting as citizens descendants of Arabs who fled Israel in 1948, a third intifada should, and must, be conducted. The call for a new ‘uprising of the people’ against Israel was part of a the summation statement issued at the end of the two day Palestinian Revolutionary Council (PRC) general meeting. The meeting was led by Palestinian Authority chief and Fatah party head Mahmoud Abbas.

The statement declares its support for Abbas’ ongoing refusal to back down from positions that have proven unacceptable to Israel in the past, including demands that Israel agree in principle to accept as citizens descendants of Arabs who fled their homes in 1948. Abbas has also declared that he will refuse to discuss anything with Israel until all settlement activity is ended. That precondition has also been unacceptable to Israel, but in its statement, the PRC said that it supported Abbas on that as well…” (More Islamic terrorist threats; they will all fail. See the preceding report.)

Iran’s President Renews Call for New World Order

The Fars News Agency reports: “Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad lashed out at the world powers for their wrong policies, and reiterated his call for the establishment of a new world order based on justice and friendship.

‘The widening North-South divide and various crises and worries, including crises of family and identity, wars, occupations and revenge-seeking, endless arms races and economic, moral and ethical crisis and the failure to realize human principles are all the results of the current order and system dominating the world,’ Ahmadinejad said, addressing the Rio+20 Earth Summit in Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro.

‘We must cure such old wounds in the human society by reforming the existing global state and outlining a more transparent prospect for the future,’ he added.

‘During a lengthy period in the world, slavery, colonialism and record plundering of cultures, identities and possessions of hundreds of millions of defenseless people as well as the destruction of their integrity, freedom and rights had gained prominence; and in yet another long era, we were witness to global wars such as those in Korea and Vietnam and the wars by Zionists (Israeli regime) against Palestine and regional nations, Lebanon and Gaza as well as the war (former Iraqi dictator) Saddam (Hussein) waged against Iran, NATO’s wars against Afghanistan and Iraq, Africa and the Balkans and other parts of the world,’ President Ahmadinejad noted…” (God has revealed to me in recent days through the writings of Martin Luther and John Calvin the founders of Lutheranism and the Five Points of Calvinism of the Reformed Church that the two legs of the image portray upcoming world history of Daniel 2:28, 31-34 that one leg is the European nations and the other is the Islamic federation of nations. The two make up the totality of the final Revived Roman Empire, the New World Order – Revelation 17:10; Revelation 13:1, 7, 8.)

Iranian Media: Islamic World Needs Nuclear Weapons

Israel National News reports: “Iranian state-run media has published a commentary that stated, ‘The Islamic world should rise up and shout that a nuclear bomb is our right.’

The regime under Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has constantly stated that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes.

The commentary was published by Fars News Agency, which is run by the Revolutionary Guards tightly and usually publishes official opinion. It indicates that Iran is changing gears, said Erick Staklebeck, who writes for the Christian Broadcasting Network.

Staklebeck noted that the Islamic world already has nuclear weapons because Pakistan is known to have approximately 110 such weapons.

‘If Pakistan uses one of its nukes, it will be to the East, against its arch-rival, India. Iran, on the other hand, clearly has its sights set on the United States, Europe and Israel,’ he wrote.

The commentary, which he said he received from a friend, was written by Alireza Forghani, a former governor of southern Iran’s Kish Province and an analyst and a strategy specialist ‘in the camp of the supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.’

Iran could possibly rationalize its ‘peaceful objectives’ for nuclear power by arguing that a nuclear bomb would create peace if it were to be used on Israel to achieve Ahmadinejad’s stated objective of annihilating Zionism. Forghani wrote in February that Iran should stage a ‘pre-emptive’ strike on Israel.

Forghani wrote, ‘The fatwa from Imam Khomeini [the founder of Iran’s Islamic revolution — ed.] said ‘all Islamic countries have Islamic blood.’ Therefore the Islamic world should rise up and shout that a nuclear bomb is our right, and disrupt the dreams of America and Israel.’

‘Having a nuclear bomb is our right. Israel would have been destroyed completely 30 years ago’ but remains because of its assumed possession of nuclear warheads…” (Imam Khamenei has warned that if atomic warfare occurs, it matters not if millions of Muslims dies as a result. He sates it will be worth the sacrifice if Islam sets up its flag in America and the world. It won’t work Khamenei – “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord…” [Psalm 33:12] and that is our God. Amen! Psalm 9:17 says: “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God…” See the next two reports.)

Muslim States to Change World’s Political Equations Soon

The Fars News Agency reports: “A senior advisor to the Iranian president said a look at the regional developments and the overwhelming waves of Islamic Awakening in the region displays that the Muslim countries will change all political equations of the world soon.

‘Given the regional developments and the rise of the waves of Islamic Awakening, the Muslim states of the region will be able to change all the world’s political equations in the very near future,’ Hojjatoleslam Seyed Ahmad Moussavi said.

He also pointed to the critical situation of the Zionist regime amid the spread of Islamic Awakening in the region, and said, ‘Today, Israel’s security situation has returned to the worst situation of past decades.’

‘On the contrary, the Islamic Republic of Iran has never enjoyed such a (high) level of political stability at any stage of the Islamic Revolution,’ Moussavi stressed…”

Poll: Muslim Nations Demanding Rule of Koranic Laws

The Fars News Agency reports: “A majority of Middle-Eastern nations favors laws based on the Holy Koran, according to a poll.

According to the results of the opinion poll conducted by the Pew Research Center in recent months, a majority of participants across the six Muslim nations surveyed feel Islam does and should play a central role in government.

Points of view differ across the countries regarding the degree to which Islam should affect policy.

In Pakistan, 82 percent of participants feel ‘laws should strictly follow the teachings of the Koran.’ In the rest of the Muslim world, only 72 percent of Jordanians, 60 percent of Egyptians, 23 percent of Tunisians and 17 percent of Turks and Lebanese agreed…”
