Ehud Barak: US should equip Israel with means to attack Iran

July 26, 2022The Jerusalem Post reports: “The United States must enable Israel to carry out an independent military attack on the Iranian nuclear program if ‘both governments are convinced it is absolutely necessary,’ former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak wrote in an opinion piece published in TIME on Monday.

Israel should be reserved the right to a large-scale military operation against the Islamic Republic, as a nuclear breakout ‘will most probably’ occur when the US has its hands full with other crises across the globe, Barak said.

‘This summer, Iran will turn into a de-facto threshold nuclear state,’ Barak added, further warning that operations over Iranian skies ‘simply cannot delay the Iranians from turning nuclear.’

Instead, Barak argued, small-scale operations by both Israel and the US can only accelerate the Islamic Republic’s rush to the nuclear bomb, with them providing Iran’s program legitimacy ‘on grounds of self-defense.’

Despite his warning, the former prime minister is still hopeful a diplomatic ultimatum ‘backed by credible threat of a wide-scale war’ could be a ‘realistic’ approach.

‘Nothing short of that can assure a result,’ he claimed…” (Almighty God has stated: …I will give them [Israel] an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off – Isaiah 56:5.  Everlasting means everlasting.  God promised to Abraham in Genesis 22:17: …in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the starts of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore…  And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt; To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance, as it is this day.  Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.  Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever – Deuteronomy 4:37 – 40.)

Gantz declares Israel can ‘seriously harm and delay’ Iranian nuclear program

July 26, 2022The Times of Israel reports: “Defense Minister Benny Gantz said Tuesday that Israel has the ability to cause serious damage to Iran’s nuclear program, and warned that reviving a 2015 pact with world powers to curb Iranian nuclear activities will only be a delaying tactic.

‘Iran is a global problem. It is not just Israel’s private problem,’ Gantz said during an interview at a Channel 13 conference in Jerusalem.

Asked if Israel has the ability to stop Iran’s nuclear development or merely delay it, Gantz said, ‘We are able to seriously harm and delay the nuclear [program].’

Regarding US President Joe Biden’s declared desire to revive the so-called Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action signed between Iran and world powers, Gantz said it is not an ‘unfounded concept.’

Still, ‘we are very unsatisfied with the agreement, which would be a bad agreement because it would be a temporary delay,’ Gantz said. Such an deal would enable to Iranians to develop their economy and eventually legitimize a return to their nuclear program at a later date, he warned…”

Nasrallah: Hezbollah has all of Israel in its missile range -report

July 26, 2022The Jerusalem Post reports: “All of Israel is within the range of Hezbollah’s missiles, Lebanese Hezbollah terror leader Hassan Nasrallah said in an interview published Monday night.

‘All land and sea targets of Israel are in the range of Hezbollah missiles,’ the Hezbollah commander said. He also said that Hezbollah has created ‘active deterrence’ against Israel.

Nasrallah also boasted about a recent drone operation Hezbollah carried out targeting Israel’s Karish gas field. Israel downed the drones but Nasrallah told Al-Mayadeen media that Hezbollah has used drones over Israel many times in the past years…”  (They may threaten Israel, but Psalm 121 states: I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.  He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.  Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.  The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.  The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.   The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.  The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.)

Hamas calls for Muslim to come to Hebron site to prevent ‘Jewish takeover’

July 8, 2022Israel National News reports: “Naif al-Rajoub, a Hamas MP, is calling on Muslims to come en masse to the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron (Cave of the Patriarchs) for the Eid al-Adha holiday.

Rajoub explained the importance of the presence of Muslims at the site in defending the site from Israel’s attempts to take over and ‘Judaize’ it.

‘The large number of Muslims who will visit the place will prevent the occupation from gaining control of it and the other holy places, and this is the security valve to prevent the takeover of the Jews,’ Rajoub said…”  (Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.  He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.  Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.  Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.  I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.  Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.  Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.  Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.  Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.  Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. – Psalm 2:1-12.  See the next two reports.)

Iran: No regional security as long as US protects the security of fake Israel

July 15, 2022Israel National News reports: “Iran responded on Thursday to US President Joe Biden’s visit to Israel and said that as long as Washington’s main goal was to maintain ‘the fake state of Israel’s security,’ the Middle East will not achieve stability and peace.

‘As long as the fake state of Israel is the first stop on the American presidents’ visits to the region and their first goal is to maintain its security and superiority, the regional nations and countries will not achieve peace and stability,’ said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani, according to Reuters.

The statement came hours after Biden and Prime Minister Yair Lapid signed a document in Jerusalem in which both countries pledge to deny Iran nuclear arms.

Also on Thursday, Biden met with opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu, who urged the President to keep the military option on the table vis-à-vis Iran’s nuclear program…”

Iran warns against military alliance with Israel

July 11, 2022Israel National News reports: “The Iranian Foreign Ministry on Saturday warned that the establishment of a joint defense alliance between Israel and the Arab states in response to Iran’s UAV attacks, and announced that the move would only exacerbate instability in the region. ‘This will be a catalyst for tension and divisiveness,’ a spokesman for the ministry said.

The Iranians’ remarks were made against the background of reports of contacts between Israel and Arab countries for cooperation in the field of air defense. The Wall Street Journal recently reported that IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi participated in a secret discussion with his Saudi counterpart at a meeting attended by senior representatives of the IDF and the armed forces of various Arab states.

Ynet reports that the participants agreed in principle on a plan to share air defense alerts through a variety of media. The agreement remains theoretical for the time being, pending the approval of the political echelons of both sides…”
