Hamas celebrates shooting attack

June 21, 2023  — Israel National News reports: “Abdel-Latif al-Kanou, the spokesman for the Hamas movement, welcomed the shooting attack at Eli Junction in which four Israelis were murdered, whom he called ‘herds of settlers’.

‘The act of heroism was carried out in response to the aggression of the Zionist occupation last night in the city of Jenin, and it joins the escalating attacks by the struggle organizations in Jenin, Silwad and everywhere else,’ said Al-Kanou.

Al-Kanou added: ‘Our Palestinian people will not break in the face of the power of the occupation, and the Palestinian struggle organizations will continue with attacks, and their response will be with all their might against the crimes of the Zionist occupation, the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the expulsion of worshipers from its premises, and the ongoing attacks against (the) Al-Aqsa Mosque.’…”  (Larry Miller, a humorist, tells of visiting several hospitals in Israel in in 2001 – 2002 where he met several victims of terror attacks.  He wrote: “Downstairs, before we left, the head of the hospital, an Israeli named Audrey, was showing me the children’s waiting room. I couldn’t help but notice, all around, an Arab woman with her son, an Arab family over there checking in, Arab children playing with the toys while waiting. The doctor saw the look on my face and laughed. “Oh, yes, we treat everyone.” I guess I was astonished. She just shrugged. “We’re Jews. This is how we live. It’s also for the future. They’re not going anywhere, and we’re not going anywhere. There will eventually be peace. There has to be.” When? A month? A year? A hundred years? More? She didn’t know. I had to say it. You’re incredible. You take everyone, you treat everyone, no one goes first, no one goes last, you just go in order of who needs help. That’s, like, Mother Teresa stuff. “We’re not saints, we’re just doing our jobs. It’s not easy, I admit. And it gets hard when they cheer when the [Jewish] bodies are brought in.” I looked at her. What did you say? She sighed. “Yes, it gets hard when they cheer.” This was one of the times during my trip when I held up my hands and said, “Stop. Wait.” I turned and walked away to breathe deeply for a minute… I didn’t meet one Jew the whole trip who didn’t think there would be peace, not one. “We can work it out. We have to. Islamic Jihad proclaims shooting attack ‘heroic sacrifice’

June 21, 2023  — Israel National News reports: “Tarek Salmi, spokesman for the Islamic Jihad organization, welcomed the shooting attack carried out at the gas station near the settlement of Eli in Samaria, in which four Israelis were murdered.

In a statement to the media, Salmi said that ‘the act of heroic sacrifice was carried out as part of the exercise of the legitimate right to self-defense, and is considered a natural response to the crimes of the occupation that are escalating against the Palestinian people.’

Salmi emphasized that ‘this action shows the vitality of the resistance organizations and their ability to act in all circumstances and hit the occupation continuously.’…”

Israel will be overthrown by Palestinian resistance, Iran tells Hamas

June 21, 2023  — The Jerusalem Post reports: “Palestinian resistance is the best way to overthrow Israel, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Akbar Ahmadian told Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on Monday, according to Iranian semi-official media outlet Fars.

The two men met in Tehran and discussed how best to ‘cause the greatest damage to the Zionist enemy and its supporters.’

Iran claims Caspian Sea destroyer outfitted with cruise missiles, new guns

June 26, 2023 — The Jerusalem Post reports: “Iran’s Damavand destroyer, located on the land-locked Caspian Sea, has been outfitted with new missiles and a gun, Iranian media reported on Sunday.

Iran’s main warship on the Caspian Sea was ordered back in 2006 and completed in 2013. Iran can use this sea to expand its strategies in Central Asia and protect shipments of weapon systems, such as drones, to Russia.

Iran reportedly ships drones and items for a drone factory via the Caspian Sea, according to a June 9 report at CNN. 

The Damavand is part of the Moudge-class of ships for Iran’s navy and is one of several of these ships to supposedly be built…”

Hamas: ‘We will bring Israeli Arabs into the next fight”

June 13, 2023  — Israel National News reports: “Ihsan Ataya, a member of the political bureau of the Islamic Jihad and the organization’s representative in Lebanon, denies the reports that the Islamic Jihad has received a proposal for a long-term ceasefire with Israel.

In an interview with the Al-Rid news outlet Ataya said that in recent talks held by senior officials of the organization in Egypt, Israeli ‘aggression’ in the Gaza Strip, the assassinations, the need to respond to any Israeli aggression, the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip and other issues related to the Palestinian problem were discussed.

‘We are in an open war with the Israeli occupation. There is no cease-fire as some claim,’ Ataya said, adding that ‘the occupation only understands the language of force.’

‘The way of negotiation has failed, and we are a movement of struggle and will continue to struggle against the Israeli occupation, and everything that happens in the (West) Bank is the best proof of the continuation of the struggle.’

According to him, the last campaign with Israel was but one round in the rounds of confrontation with the occupation. ‘We follow the path of struggle until the liberation of Palestine.’…”

Gantz: We are closer than ever to needing to act against Iran

June 14, 2023  — Israel National News reports: “National Unity Party chairman MK Benny Gantz addressed the AJC Global Forum 2023 on Tuesday and commented on the reports of an agreement being formed between the US and Iran on the Iranian nuclear program.

The fight against Iran, said Gantz, ‘is a global struggle for the world order and for maintaining regional stability, whether it is through funding of Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, spreading terror, whether it is through Hezbollah who plays a central role in the disintegration of Lebanon, wherever it is through Houthis in Yemen threatening and acting against Saudi Arabia and UAE.’

‘Iran’s actions affect the entire global surrounding and the entire Middle East, and bear in mind that with a nuclear umbrella, Iran will lead to a potential arm race in the Middle East and in the rise of Iranian aggression around the world, and for those reasons the world must stop it,’ he added…”  Almighty God has stated: …I will give them [Israel] an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off – Isaiah 56:5.  Everlasting means everlasting.  God promised to Abraham in Genesis 22:17: …in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore…    And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt; To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance, as it is this day.  Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.  Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever – Deuteronomy 4:37 – 40.)
