Russia says military ties with China provide global ‘stability’

June 12, 2023  — SpaceWar.com reports: “Russian armed forces chief of staff Valery Gerasimov said on Friday his country’s strong military partnership with China provides stability around the world.

Gerasimov, who is commander of Russia’s military operations in Ukraine, made the remark during a videoconference with his Chinese counterpart, Liu Zhenli.

‘The coordination of Russian and Chinese efforts on the international stage has a stabilising effect on the global situation,’ Gerasimov told Liu, according to a video published by the Russian defence minstry.

‘I am convinced today’s meetings will help us continue to strengthen the strategic Russia-China defence partnership,’ he added.

Joint Russian and Chinese military exercises should remain ‘an important axis’ of this partnership, he continued…”  (China will become a basic partner with Russia for the rapidly approaching battle of Armageddon – Revelation 16:16. Russia will lead invasion number one – Ezekiel 38 & 39. China will lead invasion number two – Revelation 16:12; Revelation 9:14 – 16. UAE wishes to strengthen ties with Russia, Sheikh Mohammed tells Putin

June 16, 2023  — The Jerusalem Post reports: “The president of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which has not joined Western sanctions against Moscow, told Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday that his nation wished to strengthen ties.

‘I am pleased to be here today with you, your Excellency, and we wish to build on this relationship and we put our trust in you to do so,’ Sheikh Mohammed told Putin on the sidelines of a forum in St. Petersburg on Friday.

The Middle East economic powerhouse has sought to maintain what it says is a neutral position on the Ukraine war…”

U.S. deploys F-22s to Middle East to counter Russia’s ‘unsafe, unprofessional behavior’

June 15, 2023  — SpaceWar.com reports: “U.S. F-22 fighter jets have been deployed to the Middle East to counter an increase in ‘unsafe and unprofessional behavior’ by Russia in the region, the military said Wednesday.

The Raptor fighter jets of Virginia’s 94th Fighter Squadron were deployed from Langley Air Force Base to the Middle East to demonstrate the United States’ ability to ‘re-posture forces and deliver overwhelming power at a moment’s notice,’ U.S. Central Command said in a statement.

The announcement comes amid heightened tensions between the United States and Russia over Moscow’s war in Ukraine and follows several instances of near conflict erupting between the countries in the skies over Syria.

In April, Russian fighter jets attempted to lure U.S. military aircraft into a dogfight over Syria, CNN reported.

During the month of March, Russian jets flew near daily over a U.S. military base in the Middle Eastern country, Lt. Gen. Alexus Grynkewich of U.S. Central Command told NBC News…”
