THE IRANIAN NUCLEAR DEAL
Iran thumbs nose at U.S. even as Obama rallies support for nuke deal
September 4, 2015 — Fox News reports: “Even as President Obama was securing the Senate support necessary to assure passage of the nuclear deal with Iran, Tehran’s top defense officials were scoffing at U.S. claims the pact will restrict the Islamic Republic’s military ambitions.
The president has been twisting arms and Secretary of State John Kerry reassuring lawmakers that the deal between Iran and the P5 +1 – members of the UN Security Council plus Germany – will ensure international inspections and bar Iran from ever developing nuclear weapons. This week, Sen. Barbara Mikulski, D-Md., became the 34th member of the Senate to back the controversial and unpopular deal, meaning that if it is defeated in a vote as expected, Obama will have enough support to sustain his certain veto. But Iran’s military brass has answered the U.S. nose-counting by thumbing their nose at America.
‘Iran does not plan to issue permission for the [International Atomic Energy Agency] to inspect every site,’ Iranian Defense Minister Brig. Gen. Hossein Dehqan told Al Mayadeen News Wednesday. ‘U.S. officials make boastful remarks and imagine that they can impose anything on the Iranian nation because they lack a proper knowledge of the Iranian nation.’
Iran’s official FARS news agency added that ‘Dehqan had earlier underlined that Tehran would not allow any foreigner to discover Iran’s defensive and missile capabilities by inspecting the country’s military sites.’ …” (Our President, ignorant of God’s Holy Word the Bible teaches that Persia, which changed its name to Iran in 1932 will be against the American nation during world War III – Ezekiel 38:5. Cleric: U.S. Iran’s ‘No.1 enemy’ despite nuclear deal
September 2, 2015 — SpaceDaily.com reports: “The United States remains Iran’s ‘number one enemy’ despite a recent nuclear deal with world powers, the chief of Tehran’s top clerical committee said on Tuesday, Iranian media reported.
The Assembly of Experts is among Iran’s most influential institutions, comprising 86 elected clerics who appoint and can dismiss the country’s supreme leader.
It is led by the ultraconservative Ayatollah Mohammad Yazdi.
The nuclear agreement should not ‘change our foreign policy’ of opposition to America, ‘our number one enemy, whose crimes are uncountable’, Yazdi said in a speech opening the annual two-day assembly meeting.
‘The US and Israel are the source of the situation in the region and (their) goal is to protect the Zionist regime in the Middle East,’ he was quoted as saying, blaming the two countries for the conflicts in Syria, Iraq and Yemen.
Echoing Yazdi’s remarks, the leader of the Islamic republic’s top military force, the Revolutionary Guards, said the US would always be ‘the Great Satan’…”
Iran: No Nuclear Inspectors Will be Allowed without Approval
August 19, 2015 — Israel National News reports: “A senior Iranian official has placed another roadblock in the UN’s atomic energy agency attempts to inspect his country’s nuclear sites, The Washington Free Beacon reports.
According to the website, Iran’s deputy foreign minister Abbas Araqchi declared on Monday that international nuclear inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) would only be permitted into the country once they receive approval from the Islamic Republic’s Intelligence Ministry.
Araqchi, who also served as one of Iran’s top negotiators in talks that led to the recently inked nuclear deal, was quoted as having told the country’s state-controlled press that Iran’s intelligence apparatus must approve of any inspector who is issued a visa to enter Iran.
This requirement could complicate efforts to prove to the world that Iran is being fully transparent and that nuclear inspectors inside the country are neutral.
Iran has already stated that no American inspector would be permitted into the country under the deal. The accord also grants Iran a 24-day notice period before inspectors enter any site suspected of being used for nuclear weapons work.
‘Any individual, out of IAEA’s Inspection group, who is not approved by the Islamic Republic of Iran cannot enter the country as the agency’s inspector,’ Araqchi was quoted as telling the Islamic Consultative Assembly News Agency (ICANA), a government news outlet, according to The Free Beacon.
This type of screening is fully permitted under the nuclear accord, Araqchi said.
The deal ‘has been set within the framework of the additional protocol and all limitations and supervisions are within the protocol and not beyond that,’ he added…”
Senior Commander: Iran to Continue Production, Imports of Weapons Irrespective of Foreign Views
August 26, 2015 — The Fars News Agency reports: “Iran will continue manufacturing and imports of different military equipment, missiles and weapons irrespective of the western states’ pressures against this trend, a senior commander underlined.
‘Today, the Islamic Republic of Iran has reached self-sufficiency in building different types of military equipment and enjoys the capability of producing certain weapons whose technology has not yet been developed or given to all countries, and therefore, they are owned by some limited world states,’ Army Commander in Northeastern Iran Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi told FNA on Wednesday.
To supply or produce its military needs and equip its army with different types of equipment and weapons, Iran doesn’t need to take permission from any country and anyone, he said, and ‘if any country or anyone wants to intrude in this regard, it will certainly face our crushing response.’
Jahanshani also downplayed the military threats by certain regional countries, and said, ‘The Islamic Republic of Iran’s borders are secure for our friends and insecure for our enemies and we advise the enemy to consider its size and power when threatening the Islamic Republic of Iran and we stress that our response to the slightest military move will be the Islamic Republic of Iran’s iron fist.’…” (Proverbs 11:14: “Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.”)
