U.S. military chief Dunford: China is main threat to security

September 28, 2017 — Asia Times Online reports: “China was identified this week as posing the most significant long-term military challenge to the United States by America’s senior-most military leader, as he set out new US military strategies and policies toward China and Asia more generally in a congressional hearing.

Gen. Joseph Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, also revealed in the hearing, before senate, that he had informed China last summer of US plans to use military force against North Korea.

Dunford was asked to rank various military threats and identified nuclear missile-armed North Korea as presenting an ‘immediate’ threat, with Russia and China posing potential dangers based on their growing nuclear arsenals.

‘We don’t actually have the luxury of identifying a single threat today, unfortunately, nor, necessarily, to look at it in a linear fashion,’ Dunford said.

The four-star Marine Corps general then went on to say that, over the longer term, China represents the most significant danger, overshadowing the nuclear and cyber power of Moscow…”  (China will become a basic partner with Russia for the rapidly approaching battle of Armageddon – Revelation 16:16. Russia will lead invasion number one – Ezekiel 38 & 39. China will lead invasion number two – Revelation 16:12; Revelation 9:14 – 16. Then all nations will come against Jerusalem for the final invasion at which point Jesus will return to stop the bloodshed and set up his eternal kingdom upon earth – “[He gathers] all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken… Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south” – Zechariah 14:2 – 4. Then Psalm 2:6 occurs as God the Father says: “…I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion [Jerusalem].”)

North Korea ‘blows up US aircraft carrier and jets’ in new propaganda video

September 25, 2017 — The Telegraph.co.uk reports: “North Korean state media has released a new video depicting the destruction of US aircraft and warships and warning that any attack on the North will see US forces ‘head to the grave’.

The 99-second clip was released on Sunday by the DPRK Today news site, just hours after two US Air Force B-1B Lancer bombers flew off the coast of North Korea in a show of force.

Accompanied by US fighters based in Okinawa, the bombers flew further north of the Demilitarised Zone that divides the Korean Peninsula than any US military aircraft in the 21st century, according to the Pentagon…”  (North Korea marches with Russia and China for the war of the latter years and latter days – Ezekiel 38:8, 16.  Atomic bombs will produce global incineration – Psalms 97:3; Isaiah 66:15; Joel 2:3, 30; Zephaniah 1:18; Malachi 4:1; Revelation 8:7 and 9:18.  See the next two reports.)

North Korea Threatens to Shoot Down U.S. Bombers; Says, ‘United States Has Declared War on Our Country’

September 26, 2017 — Breitbart.com reports: “In a briefing to reporters outside the U.N. Millennium Plaza Hotel in New York City on Monday, North Korea’s Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho threatened to shoot down U.S. strategic bombers even when they are flying outside of North Korean airspace.

‘The whole world should clearly remember it was the U.S. who first declared war on our country,’ said Ri. ‘Since the United States declared war on our country, we will have every right to make countermeasures, including the right to shoot down United States strategic bombers even when they are not inside the airspace border of our country.’

Ri’s comments were part of a steadily escalating rhetorical volley that began with President Trump’s address to the U.N. General Assembly, in which he memorably sneered at North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un as ‘Rocket Man’ and said he was on a ‘suicide mission for himself and his regime.’

‘The U.S. has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea,’ Trump said last Tuesday at the United Nations.

On Saturday, U.S. bombers flew close to the North Korean coast in a show of force that took them further north than any American fighter or bomber has flown during the 21st century, according to the Pentagon…”

North Korea says rockets to U.S. ‘inevitable’ as U.S. bombers fly off coast

September 24, 2017 — Asia Times Online reports: “North Korea said on Saturday targeting the US mainland with its rockets was inevitable after ‘Mr. Evil President’ Donald Trump called Pyongyang’s leader ‘rocket man’, further escalating rhetoric over the North’s nuclear weapons and missile program.

North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho’s remarks to the United Nations General Assembly came hours after US Air Force B-1B Lancer bombers escorted by fighters flew in international airspace over waters east of North Korea in a show of force the Pentagon said showed the range of military options available to Trump.

Ri’s speech capped a week of rising tensions between Washington and Pyongyang, with Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un trading insults. Trump called Kim a ‘madman’ on Friday, a day after Kim dubbed him a ‘mentally deranged US dotard.’

On Saturday, the mudslinging continued with Ri calling Trump ‘a mentally deranged person full of megalomania and complacency’ who is trying to turn the United Nations into a ‘gangsters’ nest’. Ri said Trump himself was on a ‘suicide mission’ after the US president had said Kim was on such a mission.

‘‘President Evil’ is holding the seat of the US President,’ Ri said, warning that Pyongyang was ready to defend itself if the United States showed any sign of conducting a ‘decapitating operation on our headquarters or military attack against our country’…”
