Sinking U.S. aircraft carriers will resolve tension in South China Sea, says Chinese admiral
January 4, 2019 — FoxNews.com reports: “The deputy head of a Chinese military academy told an audience in Shenzhen last month that tensions in the South China Sea could be resolved by sinking a pair of U.S. aircraft carriers, reports said.
‘What the United States fears the most is taking casualties,’ said Rear Admiral Lou Yuan, deputy head of the Chinese Academy of Military Sciences, news.com.au reported. He said sinking one carrier would kill 5,000 and sinking two would double that number.
Brad Glosserman, a China expert and professor at Tokyo’s Tama University, said Lou’s comments reflect a growing belief in China that the United States has lost its stomach for war, according to a report from military.com.
The Chinese believe that ‘Americans have gone soft … [they] no longer have an appetite for sacrifice and at the first sign of genuine trouble they will cut and run,’ Glosserman said…” (China will become a basic partner with Russia for the rapidly approaching battle of Armageddon – Revelation 16:16. Russia will lead invasion number one – Ezekiel 38 & 39. China will lead invasion number two – Revelation 16:12; Revelation 9:14 – 16. Then all nations will come against Jerusalem for the final invasion at which point Jesus will return to stop the bloodshed and set up his eternal kingdom upon earth – “[He gathers] all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken… Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south” – Zechariah 14:2 – 4. Then Psalm 2:6 occurs as God the Father says: “…I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion [Jerusalem].” See the next two reports.)
China tests its own ‘Mother of All Bombs’
January 6, 2019 — SpaceDaily.com reports: “China has tested its most powerful non-nuclear weapon, dubbed the ‘Mother of All Bombs’ by official media in a reference to a US munition used in Afghanistan.
In a short video published on the website of state arms manufacturer Norinco, the massive bomb drops on to a plain and produces a gigantic ball of fire and black smoke.
On social networks Wednesday, the official Xinhua news agency described the bomb for the first time, calling it the ‘Chinese version of the ‘Mother of all Bombs’‘.
The bomb — whose strength is only second to that of a nuclear weapon, according to the agency — was dropped by a Chinese H-6K bomber.
No details on the date, location or range of the bomb blast were provided.
In 2017 the US dropped the most powerful conventional bomb
in its arsenal, dubbed the ‘MOAB’ — the ‘Mother of All Bombs’ — in an attempt
to destroy a tunnel network being used by the Islamic State (IS) group in the
east of Afghanistan…”
China takes lead in some military tech: Pentagon
January 16, 2019 — SpaceDaily.com reports: “China is on the cusp of fielding some of the world’s most advanced weapons systems — and in some cases already has surpassed its rivals, a Pentagon assessment released Tuesday found.
An unclassified report by the Defense Intelligence Agency says Beijing has made enormous military strides in recent years, thanks partly to domestic laws forcing foreign partners to divulge technical secrets in exchange for access to China’s vast market.
As a result of ‘acquiring technology by any means available,’ China now is at the leading edge on a range of technologies, including with its naval designs, with medium- and intermediate-range missiles, and with hypersonic weapons — where missiles can fly at many times the speed of sound and dodge missile-defense systems.
‘The result of this multifaceted approach to technology
acquisition is a PLA (People’s Liberation Army) on the verge of fielding some
of the most modern weapon systems in the world,’ states the report, entitled
‘China Military Power.’…”
