Xi Jinping signaling China is preparing for major attack

August 4, 2025 — WND.com reports: “A Chinese state-owned ship-building company has converted a bulk carrier into a floating farm that will produce 2,800 tons of fish a year.

The 225-meter-long Zhe Dai Yu Yang 60001 is part of a ‘marine bread basket’ project that ‘aims to boost the nation’s food security by repurposing old vessels for use in aquaculture.’ Chinese Communist Party General Secretary Xi Jinping is mobilizing state entities, including, in this case, China State Shipbuilding Corp., in his all-of-society effort to achieve food security.

Why should anyone outside China care about Xi’s obsessive drive? Because this effort is another signal that he is preparing to attack…

Xi has been urging the Chinese to leave cities and return to farming, and, in a replay of the Cultural Revolution, he is sending college graduates to work the soil.

Xi is emulating Mao Zedong, who infamously demanded that China’s peasants ‘grow grain everywhere.’ Moreover, the government is serious about storing its crops. Dogs of war: China touts killer robot ‘wolves’

August 6, 2025 — SpaceWar.com reports: “China’s latest gun-toting quadruped military ‘wolf’ robots are designed to stealthily approach enemies, fire precise shots on targets and work in rough terrain, state media said on Wednesday.

State broadcaster CCTV said the robots, an upgrade from earlier robotic dog iterations, can replace human soldiers in dangerous conditions to reduce combat casualties.

China has poured support into robotics, an area in which some experts say it might already have the upper hand over the United States.

Its military has been keen to showcase its defence innovation — including weapons incorporating advanced technology like robodogs — during drills with countries like Cambodia…”

China to showcase latest military hardware at September parade

August 20, 2025 — SpaceWar.com reports: “China will unveil a slate of new domestically produced military hardware that will showcase its ‘powerful capability to prevail in modern war’ at a parade next month, officials said Wednesday.

The event, marking 80 years since the end of World War II, will see President Xi Jinping inspect troops in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square, with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and other world leaders expected to attend.

Millions of Chinese people were killed during a prolonged war with imperial Japan in the 1930s and 40s, which became part of a global conflict following Tokyo’s attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.

The ruling Communist Party has held a series of blockbuster events in recent years to commemorate its wartime resistance.

On September 3, China’s military will showcase its latest equipment, ‘reflecting the evolution of modern warfare’, said Major General Wu Zeke, an official at China’s military commission.

‘All of the weapons and equipment taking part in this review were selected from domestically produced, currently active main battle systems, with a significant proportion being newly unveiled equipment,’ Wu told reporters at a briefing…”

Russian, Chinese navies to conduct joint patrols in Asia-Pacific, Interfax reports

August 6, 2025 — The Jerusalem Post reports: “Russian and Chinese naval vessels will conduct joint patrols in the Asia-Pacific following recent exercises in the Sea of Japan, Russia’s Interfax reported on Wednesday.

‘Crews of the Russian Navy and China’s PLA Navy will form a new task group to carry out joint patrol missions in the Asia-Pacific region,’ Interfax said, citing a statement from the Russian Pacific Fleet’s press service.

The two navies held joint drills in the Sea of Japan over August 1-5 that included artillery firing, practicing anti-submarine and air defense missions, and improving joint search and rescue operations at sea…”  (China will become a basic partner with Russia for the rapidly approaching battle of Armageddon – Revelation 16:16. German minister says China’s ‘assertiveness’ threatens European interests

August 22, 2025 — SpaceWar.com reports: “China’s assertiveness in the disputed South China Sea and tensions in the Taiwan Strait threaten international security and European interests, Germany’s foreign minister said on Wednesday.

‘What happens here in the Indo-Pacific has a direct impact on European security and vice versa,’ Johann Wadephul said in a speech in Jakarta, using an alternative description for the Asia-Pacific region.

‘China’s growing military assertiveness in the South China Sea not only threatens Asia’s security but also undermines the international rules-based order,’ Wadephul said after talks with his Indonesian counterpart.

‘With essential trade routes running right through this area, it also constitutes an economic risk.’

He said the same applied to frictions in the Taiwan Strait, where China has deployed fighter jets, warships and coast guard ships near Taiwan and has held several major military exercises around the island in recent years.

Communist China has never ruled Taiwan but Beijing insists it is part of its territory and has threatened to use force to bring it under its control…”

Kim Jong Un urges expansion of North Korea nuclear capability

August 19, 2025 — SpaceWar.com reports: “North Korean leader Kim Jong Un called Tuesday for the ‘rapid expansion’ of the country’s nuclear weapons capability, citing ongoing US-South Korea military exercises that he said could ‘ignite a war’.

‘The US-ROK intensified military nexus and the muscle-flexing are the most obvious manifestation of their will to ignite a war,’ Kim was quoted as saying by the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

‘The prevailing situation requires us to make a radical and swift change in the existing military theory and practice and rapid expansion of nuclearization,’ he said.

The comments were made as Kim visited a naval destroyer, Choe Hyon, on Monday and received a report about the warship’s weapons systems.

He expressed satisfaction that ‘the major tasks for making the navy high-tech and nuclear-armed’ were ‘progressing as planned’ ahead of an assessment target in October, KCNA said…”  (Kim Jong-un, his sister, and recently his daughter, Ju-ae, who appeared with him twice recently raising speculation about possible succession, are following in the footsteps of Kim Jong-il and Kim il-sung in seeking nuclear weapons.  In 1993, President Bill Clinton spoke in South Korea and stated that if North Korea gained and used a nuclear weapon, the U.S. would quickly and overwhelming retaliate, and it would mean the end of their country as they know it.  President George W. Bush named North Korea as one of the three-part ‘axis of evil’ along with Iran and Iraq in 2002.  In 2014, President Barack Obama warned North Korea that the U.S. would not hesitate to use military might to defend our allies against this ‘pariah state’.  And in August 2017, President Donald Trump stated: “North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States.  They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen.”  It is believed that North Korea developed nuclear weapons in 2004.) 

Report: North Korea has ‘undeclared’ ICBM base near China border

August 21, 2025 — SpaceWar.com reports: “North Korea has built a secret military base near its border with China which may house Pyongyang’s newest long-range ballistic missiles, according to new research.

The ‘undeclared’ Sinpung-dong Missile Operating Base lies about 27 kilometres (17 miles) from the Chinese frontier, the Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) said in a report published Wednesday.

The facility in North Pyongan Province likely houses six to nine nuclear-capable intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) and their launchers, the study said.

It said the weapons ‘pose a potential nuclear threat to East Asia and the continental United States’. North Korea test-fires two new air defence missiles: KCNA

August 25, 2025 — SpaceWar.com reports: “North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has overseen the test-firing of two new air defence missiles, state media said Sunday, after Pyongyang accused Seoul of fomenting tensions on the border.

The test-firing, which took place Saturday, showed that the two ‘improved’ missile weapon systems had ‘superior combat capability’, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported.

The KCNA report did not explain the new missiles in any detail, only that their ‘operation and reaction mode is based on unique and special technology’. It also did not specify where the test had been conducted.

‘The firing particularly proved that the technological features of two types of projectiles are very suitable for destroying various aerial targets,’ KCNA said.

Photos released by KCNA showed air defence missiles soaring into the sky and the flash of the purported interception of an incoming projectile…”
