The Jerusalem Post reports: “An Iranian lawmaker on the parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission said on Sunday that Tehran can target US cities from offshore positions and that every European country is already within range of Iranian missiles, remarks made as Britain, France and Germany signal they are ready to reimpose UN sanctions on Iran. 

Amir Hayat-Moqaddam told the Iranian outlet Didban Iran that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Aerospace Force has worked ‘for 20 years’ to enable strikes ‘using Iranian warships and vessels,’ adding, ‘We can move our ships to within 2,000 kilometers of the US and from there target Washington, New York and other cities.’ He also asserted, ‘Right now, all European countries are within our range.’
