The Jerusalem Post reports: “Nearly 80% of the Israeli public supports a political initiative led by US President Donald Trump to end the war in Gaza, a Tuesday poll from the Israeli Coalition for Regional Security found. 

According to the poll, 78% of Israelis would support a Trump-led political initiative, provided that it would end the war, return all hostages, disarm Hamas, normalize relations with Saudi Arabia, pave the way for separation from the Palestinians, and establish a regional security coalition against Iran.

The poll came as Trump addressed the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday and called for an end to the war in Gaza and the release of all of the hostages.
