Christian woman murdered for sharing her faith in Uganda

October 30, 2015 — ChristianToday.com reports: “A Christian woman has been beaten to death in Uganda by a mob of Muslims because she and her family had not heeded their warning to stop preaching the gospel. Her brother-in-law was killed last month for the same reason.

Mamwikomba Mwanika, a mother of eight children, was taken from her home in Kalampete village in Kibuku District and killed last week, according to Morning Star News.

Iranian man beaten unconscious in German refugee camp for converting to Christianity

October 21, 2015 — ChristianToday.com reports: “An Iranian man has been severely beaten for converting to Christianity inside a German refugee camp.

The man is thought to have to told some Afghan migrants that he had embraced Christianity, German newspaper Die Welt reports. A few days later one Afghan beat him unconscious with a baton, declaring that his conversion was a ‘sin.’

It is thought the assailant was one of those he told about his conversion…”

ISIS Tells Assyrian Christians in Sweden: ‘Convert or Die: The Caliphate Is Here’

October 15, 2015 — Breitbart.com reports: “Assyrian Christians living in Sweden have been targeted with a string of threatening messages linked to the Islamic State, including demands that they ‘convert or die.’

A recent report by Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter revealed that the Assyrian community in the city of Gothenburg, in southwestern Sweden, is being menaced by unidentified aggressors using known Islamic State methods and symbols. According to reports, local police are investigating the threats, but so far have found nothing.

The town of Gothenburg is a hotbed for jihadist recruiting, and the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet earlier this year reported that at least 150 people had left the city to join the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. Terrorism expert Magnus Ranstorp has called Gothenburg ‘the Swedish Center for Jihadists,’ and the town with a population of a half million has contributed more fighters to ISIS than the entire United States of America.

On Tuesday, Swedish Assyrian Markus Samuelsson found the walls of his restaurant in Gothenburg covered in jihadist graffiti, including messages of ‘Convert or Die’ and ‘The Caliphate is Here.’…”

Pastor shot dead in move ‘to terrorise Christians’ in east India

October 16, 2015 — ChristianToday.com reports: “A pastor has been shot dead in eastern India as part of an increasing trend of attacks against Christians.

Chamu Hasda Purty, 54, of the pastor of the Independent Pentecostal Church, was shot dead in his home in India’s Khunti district. A group of armed men forced their way into the minister’s house and shot him, a close family friend told ucanews.com.

The motive ‘is to terrorise Christians’ said Subhash Kongari, a lawyer and district president of Rashtriya Isai Mahasangh, the national Christian forum.

‘Every year we witness an average of two murders in the area and several other forms of violence,’ Kongari said. ‘They are all part of an agenda to terrorise people [so that they] disassociate with Christianity.’…”

Syrian Archbishop: Christians Are ‘Prime Target’ of ISIS’ Religious Cleansing Campaign

October 15, 2015 — Breitbart.com reports: “The Archbishop of Aleppo has called on the West to act to save Syria from the ‘fundamentalist, jihadist mercenaries’ who threaten his country, ‘killing anyone who would speak of freedom, citizenship, religious freedom and democracy.’

According to the Archbishop Jean-Clement Jeanbart, the situation for Christians in Aleppo is ‘desperate,’ with churches bombed and no way of finding work for the people. He is asking the West to help Syria reclaim ‘our freedom and our rights’ from ISIS.

Jeanbart’s own cathedral has been bombed six times and is now unusable, and his home has also been struck more than 10 times. ‘We are facing the rage of an extremist jihad; we may disappear soon,’ he said.

‘Christian communities,’ he said, ‘are the prime target of the so-called caliphate’s religious cleansing campaign.’…”

Franklin Graham condemns silence about ISIS ‘Christian genocide’

October 13, 2015 — ChristianToday.com reports: “The world is ‘largely silent’ about the ‘genocide’ being committed by Islamic State against Christians, Yazidis and other religious minorities, according to Franklin Graham.

The Samaritan’s Purse founder and son of famed evangelist Billy Graham has been outspoken in his support of minorities in Iraq and Syria – and also in his attacks on Islam.

In a Facebook post yesterday Graham said that Islamic State’s methods were ‘unimaginably cruel and heinous’. He referred to the murder of three Assyrian Christians on September 23 and to that of 12 others the previous month, as well as to the crucifixion of a 12-year-old Christian boy.

‘On that same day, ISIS militants publicly raped two Christian women in front of a crowd and then beheaded them along with six others when they refused to convert to Islam.’

He referred to a Fox News report that said, ‘They have every intention of spreading that bloodshed around the world, including America.’

Graham concluded, ‘Pray for an end to this horrendous evil in the name of religion.’… ” (This is the ‘religion of peace’ as promoted by Muslims. They have murdered 300 million non-Muslim religionists since the Crusades. Hitler killed six million Jews. America has 50 states, if Islam placed six million Christians in each of our 50 states that would be 300 million – 50 times the number of Hitler’s victims.
