Top Iranian general warns Tehran will strike Israel again at ‘appropriate time’
February 19, 2025 — The Times of Israel reports: “A senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps general warned Monday that Iran would carry out a third wave of missile strikes against Israel at the ‘appropriate time,’ after Tehran previously launched two rounds of direct attacks on Israel in April and October 2024.
‘The True Promise 3 will be carried out in appropriate time,’ said deputy commander-in-chief of the IRGC Brigadier General Ali Fadavi at Tehran’s Amirkabir University of Technology, in remarks carried by Iran’s Mehr news agency.
Fadavi also briefly touched on the war in Gaza, which was sparked by the Hamas-led invasion and massacre in southern Israel on October 7, 2023, claiming that the ongoing ceasefire and hostage release deal was proof that Israel ‘lost’ against the Palestinian terror group.
‘Zionist regime officials themselves admit that Hamas won and they lost,’ Fadavi claimed…” (Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. – Psalm 2:1-12.)
Houthi leader threatens Israel: ‘We’ll return to attacks’
February 12, 2025 — Israel National News reports: “Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the Houthi rebel leader in Yemen, on Tuesday threatened to restart attacks on Israel if the ceasefire deal with Hamas falls through.
‘We are ready to begin attacks on Israel, if it returns to striking in Gaza and does not keep the ceasefire agreement,’ al-Houthi warned.
Under the agreement, Israel withdrew from the Netzarim Corridor and is allowing increased humanitarian aid into Gaza. Israel is also releasing convicted terrorists, some of them serving life sentences, in exchange for Hamas releasing civilians and soldiers kidnapped during the October 7 massacre. For every civilian hostage returned to Israel, Israel is releasing 30 terrorists; for every kidnapped soldier, Israel is releasing 50 terrorists. However, on Monday Hamas announced that it would delay the release of hostages, claiming that Israel violated the agreement…” (They may threaten Israel, but Psalm 121 states: I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. Notice especially verse 4 – Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. During his confrontation with the prophets of Baal, Elijah mocked the prophets after they were unable to get a response from Baal. I Kings 18:27 states: And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked. God does not sleep, and He will preserve Israel.)
Hezbollah chief says Lebanon must ensure Israeli withdrawal
February 18, 2025 — SpaceWar.com reports: “Hezbollah’s chief said Sunday it was the government’s responsibility to ensure the Israeli army withdraws from Lebanon by a looming ceasefire deadline, as Israel carried out air strikes in the country.
The developments came as US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, speaking from Jerusalem, called on Lebanon to disarm Hezbollah following its recent war with Washington’s closest regional ally Israel.
Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA), meanwhile, reported Israeli forces opened fire towards the southern border town of Hula ‘after residents entered’, killing a woman.
The violence followed unrest this week over the government’s decision to block Iranian flights, which saw a UN peacekeeper convoy attacked during a protest.
‘Israel must fully withdraw on February 18, it has no excuse,’ Hezbollah’s Naim Qassem said in a televised address.
‘It is the responsibility of the Lebanese state’ to exert every effort ‘to make Israel withdraw’, he added…” (Genesis 15:18 states: In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates and in Joshua 1:4 we read: From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast. These verses encompass all of the land modern Israel currently possesses, plus all of the land of the Palestinians (the West Bank and Gaza), plus some of Egypt and Syria, plus all of Jordan, plus some of Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Israel currently possesses only a fraction of the land God has promised. See the next two reports.)
Israel Ganz: ‘The Palestinian vision is over, Israel must apply sovereignty’
February 5, 2025 — Israel National News reports: “Israel Ganz, head of the Binyamin Regional Council and Chairman of the Yesha Council responds to US President Donald Trump’s statements on Tuesday night.
Earlier on Tuesday, Trump responded to Arutz Sheva – Israel National News‘ inquiry regarding Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria by saying that he would ‘discuss’ the matter, and that ‘an announcement is coming soon.’
‘We welcome President Trump and his team for the great news he brings to Israel and the entire world about standing alongside the people of Israel and our historical values,’ Ganz said.
‘Throughout the night, I spoke with close friends in the Senate and Congress and thanked them. I pointed out to them that, for the first time, an American president is essentially declaring the end of the Palestinian dream to destroy Israel either through Gaza or through establishing a Palestinian state in the heart of the Land of Israel. The Palestinian narrative that aspires to dispossess the Jewish people from their land is over.’…”
Netanyahu says Israel won’t allow Syrian forces ‘south of Damascus’
February 24, 2025 — Voice of America News reports: “Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Israel will not allow Syria’s new army or the insurgent group that led the ouster of former President Bashar Assad to ‘enter the area south of Damascus’ as his government made clear Israeli forces would stay in parts of southern Syria for an indefinite period.
Netanyahu’s comments Sunday at a military graduation led to new concerns over the Israeli presence, and sway, in a swath of southern Syria as Damascus’ new leaders attempt to consolidate control after years of civil war.
‘Take note: We will not allow HTS forces or the new Syrian army to enter the area south of Damascus,’ Netanyahu said, referring to Syria’s new authorities as well as Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, the main former rebel group.
‘We demand the complete demilitarization of southern Syria in the provinces of Quneitra, Daraa and Suwayda from the forces of the new regime. Likewise, we will not tolerate any threat to the Druze community in southern Syria.’
There was no immediate response from Syrian authorities…”
