UK, Canada, France threaten Israel: Ceasefire or else
May 20, 2025 — Israel National News reports: “Leaders of the United Kingdom, France, and Canada released a sharply worded joint statement on Sunday condemning Israel’s ongoing military operations in the Gaza Strip, following intensified efforts by the IDF to dismantle Hamas and secure the release of hostages held since October 7.
‘We strongly oppose the expansion of Israel’s military operations in Gaza. The level of human suffering in Gaza is intolerable,’ the statement read. The leaders described Israel’s recent move to allow a basic quantity of food into Gaza as ‘wholly inadequate,’ and demanded that the Israeli government ‘stop its military operations’ and ‘immediately allow humanitarian aid’ into the area.
‘This must include engaging with the UN to ensure a return to delivery of aid in line with humanitarian principles,’ they stated, calling the lack of assistance ‘unacceptable.’
The statement urged Israel to cooperate with the United Nations in resuming aid deliveries according to humanitarian principles and called on Hamas to release all remaining hostages.
‘We call on Hamas to release immediately the remaining hostages they have so cruelly held since 7 October 2023,’ the leaders said…” (Israel seems to be the only nation that is told to temper their response to brutal attacks. Before the smoke cleared and the cries of the dying faded out on October 7, 2023, they were told not to overreact. In the book of Psalm, there are several imprecatory psalms where the author calls down calamity, destruction, and God’s anger and judgment on his enemies. One of these is Psalm 69:
Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul. I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me. I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God. They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away…
Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters. Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me. Hear me, O Lord; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies. And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily. Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies…
Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap. Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake. Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them. Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.
Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness. Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous… Psalm 69:1-4; 14-18; 22-25; 27-28.)

May 20, 2025 — The Jerusalem Post reports: “In a statement released on their media outlets, the terrorist group Hamas added: ‘we welcome the joint statement issued by the leaders of Britain, France, and Canada, rejecting the policy of siege and starvation pursued by the occupation government against our people in the Gaza Strip, and the Zionist plans aimed at genocide and displacement.’
The group further claimed: ‘This position is an important step toward restoring respect for the principles of international law, which the terrorist Netanyahu government has sought to undermine and overturn,’ calling for ‘its urgent translation into effective practical steps that deter the occupation.’
Finally, Hamas called on Arab and Islamic countries, the European Union, and ‘all other free nations of the world to take urgent action and adopt firm positions and concrete measures to halt the barbaric Zionist aggression, curb the ongoing crimes of the occupation, and work diligently to hold this rogue entity accountable.’…” (If Hamas is praising your decisions and actions, you may want to reexamine your positions. Netanyahu responds: UK, Canada and France are offering a huge prize for October 7 attack
May 20, 2025 — Israel National News reports: “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday evening issued a statement responding to the UK, Canada and France’s ultimatum to Israel to end the war in Gaza or face sanctions.
‘By asking Israel to end a defensive war for our survival before Hamas terrorists on our border are destroyed and by demanding a Palestinian state, the leaders in London, Ottawa and Paris are offering a huge prize for the genocidal attack on Israel on October 7 while inviting more such atrocities,’ he said.
‘The war began on October 7 when Palestinian terrorists stormed our borders, murdered 1,200 innocent people and abducted over 250 more innocents to the dungeons of Gaza,’ he added.
‘Israel accepts President Trump’s vision and urges all European leaders to do the same. The war can end tomorrow if the remaining hostages are released, Hamas lays down its arms, its murderous leaders are exiled and Gaza is demilitarized. No nation can be expected to accept anything less and Israel certainly won’t,’ Netanyahu stated…”
