Israel National News reports: “Dozens of Arab Muslims rioted in the Old City of Jerusalem …hurling rocks at Israeli police and setting ablaze garbage bins, a police spokeswoman said.

‘Dozens of Palestinians threw rocks at police forces near Nablus Gate. Two of them were arrested,’ said Luba Samri.

An AFP correspondent said some of the demonstrators were carrying banners which called for a ‘third intifada,’ or anti-Israeli uprising.

The ‘First Intifada’ began in 1987 and lasted into the early 90s. Haaretz reports: “More and more Israelis living in Judea and Samaria (Shomron) have come under attack as Palestinian Authority terrorist groups increase the frequency of assaults on drivers in the region. One of the victims is Michal Weisel, who shared her post-attack thoughts with Arutz Sheva.

Israelis need to take advantage of technology that can reinforce car windows against attack, she said, and not to rely on the IDF to stop attacks.

Weisel was attacked by three young Arab men hurling heavy stones. ‘It’s lucky that the car was a reinforced car owned by the Regional Council – the rocks bounced off the frame of the car,’ she recalled.

‘I hope the IDF will take strong action against rock throwers, but for my part, I’m going to reinforce my car, because it saves lives,’ she said. ‘A rock can kill, no less so than gunfire.’

‘We’re in an Intifada, even if they media hasn’t said so yet,’ she warned. The Palestinian Authority has launched two past ‘Intifada’ terrorism wars targeting Israeli civilians in a variety of attacks including rock and firebomb attacks on passing cars, stabbings and shootings in civilian homes, and suicide bombings…”

Israel National News reports: “In recent months, there has been a shakeout among the various Syrian rebel groups, and one of the dominant ones that has emerged is Jabhat al-Nusra – closely identified with Al Qaeda. The Sunni Islamist group is seeking to take over as much of Syria as possible and place it under Sharia Islamic law.

Now, the group has taken up positions close to Syria’s border with Israel, adjacent to the Syrian side of the Golan Heights. In a video released on Youtube, the group’s soldiers are seen conducting training exercises in the Dar’a area of southern Syria, right next to the Heights. In the exercise, the soldiers are seen attempting to take over a building, using weapons and bombs. They are also seen singing Arabic songs in praise of terror, and swearing revenge on the ‘unbelievers’ – the Alawite group that runs Syria, as well as Shi’ite Muslims who, according to Sunni views, hold an incorrect interpretation of Islam.

The video provides evidence of a well-trained, motivated fighting force, military experts said. The group is clearly better equipped and trained than the other rebel groups, the experts said, and apparently has incorporated a large number of Sunni Muslim defectors from the Syrian army.

While the group says that putting the ‘Syrian house in order’ is its first order of business, it says that it eventually plans to deal with the ‘Zionist enemy’ and end the ‘occupation,’ first of the Golan, and then of the ‘rest of Palestine.’…”

WND.com reports: “Hezbollah is in the final stage of preparation to attack Israel with sophisticated weapons, according to a high-level commander of the terrorist group.

Tabnak, an outlet of Iran’s Islamic regime, said an unidentified Hezbollah commander, in an interview with the Kuwaiti paper Alrai, thanked Syrian President Bashar Assad for keeping his promise to provide those weapons to Hezbollah.

‘The weapons given to Hezbollah will change the balance of power,’ he said.

‘We have in recent days done extensive operations for reconnaissance on Israel’s central and sensitive military and infrastructural installations in different areas and also on Israel’s commando posts and peacekeeping forces in the Golan Heights,’ he said, ‘to prepare for the coming battle with the occupying regime.’

The commander revealed some of the weapons given by Syria to Hezbollah, including Pantsir (SA-22 Greyhound) surface-to-air missiles, SAM 5 surface-to-air missiles and the Russian anti-tank Kornet missiles. However, the commander also hinted that soon Hezbollah will receive the advanced and dreaded ship-killer Yakhont missiles from Assad.

U.S. officials, British Prime Minister David Cameron and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had urged Russian President Vladimir Putin not to go ahead with his arms sales to Syria, including the S-300 antiaircraft system and the feared Yakhont cruise missiles. But despite their pleas, Russian officials said they were honoring contracts with Syria, and those weapons Russia will send to Syria may eventually wind up in the hands of Hezbollah and Iran…”

Israel National News reports: “The United States reiterated … that Israel has the right to defend itself, even if Russia goes ahead with the sale of advanced missiles to Syria.

‘We support Israel’s ability to defend themselves, certainly, but we remain hopeful and remain committed to working towards a political transition,’ State Department Spokeswoman Jen Psaki told reporters … when asked about comments made a day earlier by Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon.

The Jerusalem Post reports: “Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi stated during a ceremony … that Iran’s Defense Ministry and the Aerospace Division of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard jointly developed a new long-range surface-to-surface missile launcher. According to the report on Iran’s Press TV website, Vahidi stated that the missiles were for defensive purposes.

‘Today, the Defense Ministry, with the key strategy of self-confidence, hard work and self-sufficiency, designs and manufactures different weapons and military systems in aerospace, naval, aerial, ground, electronic and optic fields,’ said Vahidi.

Iran has a habit of triumphantly declaring technological achievements that many Western analysts find doubtful, but there is often no way to check if the new declared technology actually works.

Iran’s defense minister also said that it would have a strong response to any aggression, making the enemy regret their attack.

‘Iran does not want war with any country and will not be the initiator of any war or conflict, but will also not allow any aggression or hostile act [against the country],’ Vahidi added, according to the report…”

The Fars News Agency reports: “Lieutenant Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Major General Hossein Salami cautioned enemies to avoid threatening Iran, warning that the IRGC has readied thousands of missiles to target enemies’ vital interests in the region, if they dare to attack Iran.

‘One day the IRGC’s biggest weapon was Kalashnikov and G3 rifles, but today thousands of missiles are ready to be launched at any target that we want from the enemies’ vital interests in the region,’ Salami said in Tehran…

He referred to Iran’s astonishing progress in developing and manufacturing different military equipment, and underlined, ‘We are witnessing our country’s self-sufficiency in all military and defensive industries, which is acknowledged by the world as well.

‘We have conquered the outer space and are not dependant on any power. This is one of the biggest achievements of the Islamic Revolution.’…”

The Fars News Agency reports: “Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said Iran is now enjoying the highest level of military deterrence.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a ceremony to supply long-range ground-to-ground missile launchers to the IRGC Aerospace Force … Hajizadeh said that the Iranian Armed Forces have elevated their military preparedness to confront potential threats.

‘Today, we are experiencing the best condition of military deterrence and no power in the world is capable of confronting and hurting the Islamic Iran,’ Hajizadeh said.

Earlier …The Iranian Defense Ministry supplied large numbers of long-range ground-to-ground missile launchers to the IRGC.

The launchers were supplied to the IRGC’s Aerospace Force in a special ceremony attended by Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi and Hajizadeh.

Addressing the ceremony, Vahidi underlined the defensive nature of the country’s military power, saying that the capability is for crushing possible enemy invasions.

‘The Islamic Iran does not want war with anyone and will never initiate war and conflict, yet, it will not allow anyone to make an aggression or take a hostile action and will mightily crush any invading enemy and will make him regretful of his deeds,’ Vahidi stated…”
