Ben Carson: We Called Ancient Civilizations Heathens Because They Sacrificed Babies, But We Abort Them

The neurosurgeon and the author of six best-selling books makes another compelling point about the issue of abortion that is sure to have everyone who opposes abortion concurring.

He pointed out how ancient civilizations have been criticized for the brutal practices of human sacrifice and child sacrifice — but he wonders if modern society isn’t ‘guilty of the same thing’ because we have legalized abortion.

‘Well, it’s interesting that we sit around and call other ancient civilizations heathen because of human sacrifice but aren’t we actually guilty of the same thing?’…”   (Well said Dr. Carson. 

Child sacrifice was practiced by the Ammonites in the Bible.  They sacrificed to Molech, whose image was made in bronze and their outstretched arms were heated red-hot.  Living children were placed into the hands where they would die, or were rolled into a fire pit below.  In Leviticus 20:2-5 God told Moses: “Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.  And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.  And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:  Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.”  Sadly, Kings Solomon followed Ashtoreth and Molek [I Kings 11:4-11], and Kings Manassah, and Ahaz offered their children as sacrifices.  The people of Judah also did this: “And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.  And now therefore thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning this city, whereof ye say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence;” – Jeremiah 32:35, 36 – which was one of the reasons for the Babylonian captivity.

Abortionists break God’s sixth commandment ‘Thou shalt not kill’ – Exodus 20:13. Those who take lives are regarded as murderers and miss an eternal existence with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. If repentance occurs, and the sins of abortion are confessed and repented of, one is pardoned and sins are forgiven and forgotten – I John 1:9; Hebrews 8:12.)

German couple jailed for selling son to paedophiles on dark net

August 7, 2018 — BBC News reports: “A woman who sold her son to paedophiles on the dark net has been jailed for 12 years and six months by a court in southern Germany.

The Freiburg court also jailed her partner, the boy’s stepfather, for 12 years. The boy was nine when the trial began in June.

The German nationals, 48, and 39 years old, had sexually abused the boy themselves for at least two years.

The dark net is an internet area beyond the reach of mainstream search engines.

On Monday the court jailed a Spanish man for 10 years for sexually abusing the boy repeatedly…”  (This wicked mother and her partner will be in hell forever – “…whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him [or her] that a millstone were hanged about his [or her] neck, and that he [or she] were drowned in the depth of the sea.  Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man [or woman]  by whom the offence cometh!  Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire” – Matthew 18:6 – 8.)
