Hello Drs. Jack and Rexella Van Impe;

A program was aired in my area January 12, 2014 on alcohol.

For starters I can’t thank you enough! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! So many people except alcohol as their best friend, and savior! But I like Dr. Jack Van Impe have been on the receiving end of it.

Alcohol claimed my marriage 22 years ago. Alcohol nearly destroyed my 4 children, now adults, and myself as well. Alcohol destroyed many friendships. Alcohol caused me to face financial struggles, and poverty. Alcohol caused a lot more.

It left me to raise my 4 children on my own, because it made my marriage to dangerous to stay in. My former/late husband was a violent drunk, and he did some tormenting after the marriage was dissolved when he would drink.

Where is he today? I don’t know. I only know that alcohol suddenly claimed his life nearly 2 years ago.

Through the years, and even now I pray for my children and even my daughter- in- law.

God is good, even though the years were so dark; HIS light did, and does shine.

My children aren’t alcoholics, don’t smoke, and don’t do drugs.

They are firefighter, real estate agent, human services, construction supervisor, and law and security.

Our heavenly father protected them, and me.

All this suffering could have been avoided if there wasn’t the issue of alcohol abuse.

We don’t need alcohol to solve our problems, we need Yahweh God, and his son Christ Jesus, and it’s as simple as that!
