THE STATE OF PALESTINE?

Iranian official stresses importance of liberating ‘Palestine’

July 22, 2019 — Israel National News reports: “Kamal Kharrazi, the chairman of Iran’s Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, met on Sunday with a Hamas delegation headed by the terrorist organization’s deputy leader Salah Al-Aruri.

During the meeting, Kharrazi said that liberation of ‘Palestine’, especially Al-Quds, is among the greatest causes of Iran, according to The Tehran Times.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Kharrazi said relations between Iran and Hamas are growing…” (Caroline B. Glick, senior contributing editor to The Jerusalem Post wrote a book in 2014 entitled “The Israeli Solution” where she stated in the preface: “Establishing a Palestinian state, so the thinking goes, would be a panacea for all the region’s ills.  It would end the Arab world’s conflict with Israel, because the reason the Arab world is anti-Israel is that there is no Palestinian state.  It would also nearly erase the Arab world’s anti-Americanism, because the reason the Arabs – and the larger Muslim world – are anti-American is that the United States supports Israel even though there is no Palestinian state…  For the past ninety years, the two-state solution has been tried more than a dozen times, and every time it has failed, abysmally.  Between 1970 and 2013, the United States presented nine different peace plans for Israel and the Palestinians, all based on the two-state solution – and for the past twenty years, the two-state solution has been the centerpiece of the U.S. Middle East policy.  But despite this laser focus, American efforts to implement the two-state solution have all been dismal failures.”  See the next report.)

PA ‘foreign minister’: A new country will recognize ‘Palestine’

July 22, 2019 — Israel National News reports: “Riyad al-Malki, the Palestinian Authority (PA) ‘foreign minister’, said on Sunday that a new country will be recognizing the State of ‘Palestine’ by the end of the month, reported the PA Wafa news agency.

Al-Malki told Palestine TV that the move is an indication of the strenuous efforts by the PA leadership at the political and diplomatic levels on the way forward to statehood and independence.

While he did not identify the country that will recognize ‘Palestine’, Al-Malki added that he is scheduled to start visits to Latin American countries, including Ecuador and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, for talks on bilateral relations.

He noted that following his visits to Latin America, he would come back home with a new recognition of ‘Palestine’ as an independent state…”

Abbas: Eastern Jerusalem is the capital of ‘Palestine’

June 28, 2019 — Israel National News reports: “Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas said on Thursday, in the wake of the economic conference in Bahrain aimed at promoting economic peace, that national rights are not real estate assets that can be bought and sold with money.

Speaking at a press conference in his Ramallah headquarters with the President of Chile, Sebastian Pinera, Abbas said that before achieving a political solution that would guarantee freedom, dignity, independence and justice, ‘the Palestinian people’ need to implement economic projects that can create stability and security for all, and that is why ‘Palestine’ did not participate in the economic conference in Bahrain.

Abbas attacked the US administration over its decisions on Jerusalem, the ‘settlements’, the ‘refugees’ and security, which, he claimed, proved that the US is incapable of sponsoring the peace process. These decisions, said the PA chairman, encouraged Israel to declare its intention to annex parts of Area C in Judea and Samaria…” (Although its history is one of war and destruction, Jerusalem means “city of peace” or “foundation of peace.”

From the siege of David in 1000 B.C. to the Six Day War of 1967, the sounds of battle have been heard as this city has experienced 46 sieges and 32 partial destructions. It has been burned to the ground five times, always rising from the ashes. It is the site of the most volatile political, religious, and military problems in the entire world.

The Jewish cry for peace in Jerusalem is sincere, finding its roots in the promise given through Moses (Leviticus 26:6). Jerusalem will finally become the city of peace and capital of the world when Christ, who is our peace, returns (Isaiah 9:6).

Having a history of 4,000 years, Jerusalem was first mentioned in Scripture in Genesis 14:18 when Melchizedek was king over the city of Salem. Later, it was called Jebus, named for the third son of Canaan, as it was the dwelling place of the Jebusites (Judges 19:10, 11; 1 Chronicles 11:4, 5).

When David took the city, the fortress was on a hill called Zion, another name given Jerusalem. Somehow, later, Jeru was added to Salem … perhaps a combination of Jebus, changed to Jeru, and Salem.

Since B.C. 400, Jerusalem has passed from one Gentile power to another. From 70 A.D. alone, the transition of power went from the Roman conquerors to the Persians in 614; to Caliph Omar in 637; to the Crusaders in 1099; to Saladin in 1187; to the Egyptian Mamelukes in 1250; the Turks in 1517; the British in 1917, and finally, in 1967, the Jews captured Jerusalem.)

UK-based ‘Muslim Scholars’ Demand ‘Fascist’ Israel Returned to Arabs, Want Jerusalem as Caliphate Capital

July 2, 2019 — Breitbart.com reports: “Twenty-six ‘Muslim scholars’ based in Britain have called for ‘fascist’ Israel to be returned to the Arabs, and expressed their hope that ‘Jerusalem will be the capital of the Islamic Caliphate when it returns, Allah willing.’

5Pillars, which describes itself as ‘The largest *regulated* Muslim news site in Europe & the Americas’ — but has been described by Lead Commissioner for the Commission for Countering Extremism Sara Khan as ‘Islamist’ — published the open letter on its website, and invited ‘Any Muslim scholar who would like to sign this open statement’ to get in touch.

The statement, which 5Pillars say was ‘spearheaded by Shaykh Asrar Rashid from Birmingham’, asserts that the signatories ‘do not recognise ‘Israel’ as a legitimate state.’

‘‘Israel’ must return the entirety of Palestinian land,’ they demand.

‘Palestinians have no link to the holocaust and the crimes of the Second World War against the Jewish people.

‘We condemn the continued fascist Zionist oppression which has cost the Palestinian people their freedom, homeland and lives for over seventy years.’…” (“…when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.  He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever…And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever” – II Samuel 7:12, 16.  “I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,  Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations” – Psalms 89:3-4.  “He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:  And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end”—Luke 1:32, 33.  Jerusalem is the Eternal Capital of Israel, and the Lord Jesus Christ will reign from David’s Throne in Jerusalem for ever and ever.)
