Israel expects to fight Weapons of Mass Destruction in ‘multi-front war’

WorldNetDaily.com reports: “The Israeli military, alarmed by the increasing hostility that is coming from Middle East and North African countries as a result of the ‘Arab Spring,’ is forecasting there is a ‘likelihood of an all-out war with the possibility of weapons of mass destruction being used,’ according to a report from Joseph Farah’s G2 Bulletin.

In an address before the Institute for National Security Studies, Home Front Command chief Maj. Gen. Eyal Eisenberg said that governments previously supported by the United States and Israel, particularly Egypt and Turkey, are turning against Israel.

‘After the Arab Spring, we assess that a winter of radical Islam will arrive and as a result the possibility for a multi-front war has increased including the potential use of weapons of mass destruction,’ Eisenberg said…” (The General is right according to Biblical prophecy – Ezekiel 39:1, 2, 6; Joel 3:2, 20, 30; Malachi 4:1; Revelation 9:14 – 18. These texts are all fulfilled during Armageddon – Revelation 16:16 – which is fought over Israel. Proof can be found in Ezekiel 38:8, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19; Ezekiel 39:2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 12, 17, 22, 23, 25 and 29. See the next two reports.)

IDF general: Likelihood of regional war growing

YnetNews.com reports: “Recent revolutions in the Arab world and the deteriorating ties with Turkey are raising the likelihood of a regional war in the Middle East, IDF Home Front Command Chief, Major General Eyal Eisenberg warned.

‘It looks like the Arab Spring, but it can also be a radical Islamic winter,’ he said in a speech at the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv.

‘This leads us to the conclusion that through a long-term process, the likelihood of an all-out war is increasingly growing,’ the IDF general said.

‘Iran has not abandoned its nuclear program. The opposite it true; it continues full steam ahead,’ he said. ‘In Egypt, the army is collapsing under the burden of regular security operations, and this is reflected in the loss of control in the Sinai and the turning of the border with Israel into a terror border, with the possibility that Sinai will fall under the control of an Islamic entity.’…”

Ahmadinejad: Iran is determined to eradicate Israel

Haaretz reports: “Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that Iran was determined to eradicate Israel, ISNA news agency reported .

‘Iran believes that whoever is for humanity should also be for eradicating the Zionist regime (Israel) as symbol of suppression and discrimination,’ Ahmadinejad said in an interview with a Lebanese television network, carried by ISNA.

‘Iran follows this issue (the eradication of Israel) with determination and decisiveness and will never ever withdraw from this standpoint and policy,’ the Iranian president added in the interview with the Al-Manar network.

The remarks by Ahmadinejad came one day before the annual anti-Israeli rallies named Qods (Jerusalem) Day, which are held nationwide in Iran on the last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadan.

Ahmadinejad said that Iranians and Muslim nations worldwide should hold Qods rallies and show their willingness to dispose of this ‘infectious tumor and this regime full of rascality.’…”

PLO official: Palestinian state to be free of Jews

Haaretz reports: “The future independent Palestinian state will not include a Jewish minority, a top Palestinian official told USA Today, adding that it was in the best interest of both peoples to ‘be separated.’

Maen Areikat, PLO Ambassador to the United States, made the comment just as the Palestinian Authority, led by President Mahmoud Abbas, was preparing to offer up Palestinian statehood to a vote in the United Nations General Assembly later this month.

Answering questions on minority rights in a future state, Areikat was quoted by USA Today as saying on the possibility of a Jewish minority: ‘After the experience of the last 44 years of military occupation and all the conflict and friction, I think it would be in the best interest of the two people to be separated.’

Former U.S. National Security Council official Elliot Abrams responded to the Palestinian official’s comment, saying to USA Today that the Palestinian demand was ‘a despicable form of anti-Semitism,’ adding: ‘No civilized country would act this way.’…” (Does this headline shock you? It shouldn’t since Ahmadinejad; President of Iran, sponsors Hamas, the Islamic terrorist organization controlling Palestine and under Iran’s sponsorship also wants to wipe the Jew off the face of the earth. Palestinians will not tolerate Jews living in their state. The Satanic United Nations anti-Semites will attempt to force this plan on Israel. Remember the devil’s eternal plan has always been – “Satan stood up [and always will] against Israel – I Chronicles 21:1.)

‘Warships could be in E. Mediterranean at any moment’

The Jerusalem Post reports: “Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan said Israel could not do whatever it wanted in the Eastern Mediterranean and that Turkish warships could be there at any moment.

‘Israel cannot do whatever it wants in the eastern Mediterranean. They will see what our decisions will be on this subject. Our navy attack ships can be there at any moment,’ Erdogan told a news conference on a visit to the Tunisian capital.

Erdogan was in Tunisia as part of a so-called Arab Spring tour of Egypt, Tunisia, and Libya, three nations that saw their long-time leaders deposed within the last number of months.

Earlier, Erdogan said Turkish warships will escort any Turkish aid vessels to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Erdogan also said that Turkey had taken steps to stop Israel from unilaterally exploiting natural resources from the eastern Mediterranean, according to Al Jazeera’s Arabic translation of excerpts of the interview, which was conducted in Turkish…” (Preparations for Armageddon – Ezekiel 38:6. Report: Turkish warplanes now able to fire at Israeli targets

YnetNews.com reports: “Turkey has developed a new radar system for its US-made F-16 fighter jets that will allow them to fire at Israeli targets, Ankara’s Star Gazete reported. The orders to modify the system reportedly came directly from Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s office.

The new radar system – Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) – is a defensive command and control system developed by Turkey’s Military Electronics Industry (ASELSAN) for the nation’s air force and navy. It is slated to replace a similar US version which is in use today.

The US system is comprised of lists of ‘friends’ and ‘foes.’ The system’s settings are designed to prevent pilot error as well, to an extent, disabling the ability to fire at ‘friendly’ targets even by mistake. The US system identified Israel as a ‘friend,’ thus preventing Turkish fighter jets from firing at them automatically.

The new system, however, allows Turkey control the ‘friend or foe’ list independently…”

‘Turkish hackers preparing cyber-attack on Israeli sites’

The Jerusalem Post reports: “Turkish hackers are preparing to launch a wave of cyber-attacks on sensitive Israeli internet sites, the head of a major Israeli website building company warned.

Elik Cohen, chairman of Daronet, which maintains more than 3,000 websites, sent a warning to his company’s branches in Israel and abroad saying that Turkish hackers could be targeting sites vital for trade and the presentation of content belonging to banks and the government.

Cohen added that Daronet’s defense systems have identified ‘tracks’ left behind by Turkish hackers who were ‘making preparations ahead of launching their attack.’

‘According to all of the signs, we are looking at a planned attack by very professional hackers who have advanced technological capabilities,’ Cohen said in a press release.

Daronet’s online security personnel have been instructed to intensify defenses around company servers and to carry out immediate security updates.

Firewalls have also been raised to their maximum levels…”

Iran parliament voices support for attack on Israeli embassy in Cairo

Haaretz reports: “The Iranian parliament applauded the recent attack against the Israeli embassy in the Egyptian capital of Cairo, state media reported.

Ismaeil Kowsari, foreign policy committee spokesman, said the members of parliament had voiced full support for ‘the ransacking’ of the embassy by Egyptian Muslims, news network Press TV reported.

Thousands of Egyptians stormed the embassy, climbing over a security wall, breaking windows, bursting inside, lighting fires, painting anti-Israel slogans and looting the mission’s offices on the building’s upper floors.

The administration of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has not made an official reaction but state-run television has played the incident prominently and called it a major new development in the Middle East.

Following the 1979 Islamic revolution, Iran declared Israel its political arch-foe and does not recognize its sovereignty.

Ahmadinejad has even called for the elimination of the Jewish state from the Middle East and suggested it be relocated to Europe or North America. He also questioned the historic dimensions of the massacre of Jews in World War II and termed the Holocaust a ‘fairy tale.’…” (Iran, promoter of anti-Jewish hatred throughout the Middle East will attempt to create the terrorist murders of Jews in Egypt, by the Muslim Brotherhood. The King of the South, Egypt – Daniel 11:40 – and the madman of Iran, originally Persia – Ezekiel 38:5 – will do everything possible to make it happen.)

‘Palestinians officially begin UN state bid plans

The Jerusalem Post reports: “The Palestinian Authority officially launched their UN statehood recognition bid, announcing a series of ‘peaceful events’ before the opening of the UN General Assembly on September 20, the Press Association reported.

The plans were announced in a letter that was submitted to UN chief Ban Ki-moon at a ceremony in Ramallah’s UN offices and was attended by about 100 Palestinian officials and national activists, Press Association said.

The letter itself was presented by an elderly Palestinian woman who had reportedly lost a son and had seven other sons serving jail time in Israeli prisons because of terrorist activities. She was chosen, the report said, because her story is representative of the plight of the Palestinian people.

The US – which sees the unilateral UN move as undermining chances to revive peace negotiations with Israel – officially asked the Palestinian Authority to abandon its plan to ask the UN later this month to recognize a Palestinian state along the pre-1967 lines.

The request was relayed to PA President Mahmoud Abbas by US Middle East envoy David Hale during a meeting in Ramallah, Palestinian officials said. The meeting was attended by senior White House official Dennis Ross and US Consul-General in Jerusalem, Daniel Rubenstien…” (The UN will attempt to force Israel into returning to pre-1967 borders including the dividing of Jerusalem. This division will bring on the “Battle of Battles” as named by Israel and “Armageddon” by Christians – Revelation 16:16. Joel 3:2 predicts this war to occur when Jerusalem is divided. 930 times God’s Word states that Jerusalem is exclusively Israel’s possession forever. See the next report.)

UN Secretary General: Palestinian statehood is ‘long overdue’

Haaretz reports: “The Palestinian people are ‘long overdue’ in their quest for an independent state, United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said ahead of a Palestinian push for statehood in the UN planned for later this month.

Ban’s comments came a day after Palestinian activists launched a campaign for the recognition of a Palestinian state in the United Nations. The move contradicts earlier reports that the Palestinian Authority was the one who issued the request.

In a letter addressed to Ban’s Ramallah office, Palestinian activists urged the leader of the international community to ‘exert all possible efforts toward the achievement of the Palestinian people’s just demands.’

Speaking on Friday, the UN chief was quoted by the French news agency AFP as saying he fully supported Palestinian statehood: ‘The two state vision where Israel and Palestinians can live… side by side in peace and security — that is a still a valid vision and I fully support it.’

‘And I support also the statehood of Palestinians; an independent, sovereign state of Palestine. It has been long overdue,’ Ban told reporters in Canberra, adding that a ‘recognition of a state is something to be determined by the member states.’…”

Analysis: Blair has major, unheralded role in Mideast talks

The Jerusalem Post reports: “Britain’s Tony Blair is playing a central but largely unheralded role in trying to revive Israeli-Palestinian peace talks and perhaps avert a Palestinian push for full UN membership.

As described by Western diplomats, the former British prime minister’s effort in part reflects a vacuum left by the United States following the May resignation of former Senator George Mitchell as its special envoy for Middle East peace.

Blair’s specific task is to try to win agreement among the so-called Quartet — the European Union, Russia, the United Nations and the United States — on a statement that might lure both sides back into peace talks after a gap of nearly a year.

If he fails, and if the Palestinians seek full membership during the UN General Assembly session that begins on Sept. 19 over Israeli and US objections, the result could be a diplomatic snafu that leaves the two sides even farther apart.

Diplomats and analysts describe Blair’s challenge as Sisyphean and they question whether Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu or Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is genuinely interested in resuming peace negotiations for now.

Blair’s diplomacy to craft a consensus statement appears to be accelerating. In the past week he quietly met Netanyahu in Jerusalem and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton in Paris.

He plans to return to the region this weekend and is expected in the next few days to see Netanyahu again and to sit down with Palestinian officials…” (Henry Kissinger stated: We have prepared President Obama to lead the New World Order. Others have said it could be Tony Blair, only time will tell. The leader of the New World Order will only be revealed after believers have been raptured – II Thessalonians 2:3-8.)
