Woman lit gasoline-soaked baby on fire, then started her IHOP shift, Louisiana records say

September 9, 2018 — The Miami Herald reports: “On the night of her child’s disappearance, the Louisiana mother said it was a kidnapping.

But according to newly-released court records, the mother and another woman are responsible for burning the child alive — and after lighting the fire, the other woman went straight to her shift at IHOP, Alexandria Town Talk reports.

…The 23-year-old mother, called 911 around 9 p.m. on July 17 to report that two kidnappers had taken her child from her home in Natchitoches, Louisiana…” (“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” – Jeremiah 17:9.  Desperately wicked – or gravely ill certainly describes the natural condition of mankind.  “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;” – II Timothy 3:1-4; “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;  Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,  Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,  Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:” – Romans 1:28-31.  The phrase “without natural affection” is the translation of one Greek word astergeo – one of four Greek words for love.  It refers to the natural love that family members have for each other.  It is such a common characteristic of people that it is not referenced unless it is lacking – when people lose their instinctive love for their own parents and children as in this article and the one that follows.   The Bible tells us that this will continue to increase in these latter days until the Lord returns.  Revelation 22:20 says: “He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly” to which all believers say: “Amen, Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”  See the next report.)

Tennessee father accused of starting house fire, setting daughter’s wheelchair ablaze ‘while she was in it,’ officials say

September 23, 2018 — FoxNews.com reports: “Tennessee authorities on Friday announced charges against a father accused of lighting ‘his daughter’s wheelchair on fire while she was in it’ several months ago.

Timothy Shane Medley was indicted by a Giles County grand jury following an investigation into a house fire that occurred in Pulaski, Tennessee, in May, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said in a news release.

The agency said they were asked to investigate the blaze alongside the Tennessee Fire Investigative Services and the Pulaski Police Department.

A female who lived at the home was injured in the fire and was taken to the Vanderbilt Burn Center, officials said.

Amid the probe, authorities found that Medley allegedly was ‘responsible for starting the fire,’ officials said.

‘Further investigation revealed that Medley used an accelerant to set his daughter’s wheelchair on fire while she was in it,’ the news release said…”
